Although he was a "petrolhead", or whatever you want to call a guy with a strong passion for engines, he was first of all a person.

I grew up watching him live since he was on motorcycles he was already by far one of the best brings me nostalgy...If I was going to watch the results of Dakar mostly in bikes it was because of him...I'm really sad now I feel I cant watch this anymore

God bless. I'm reminds me of when Ayertan Senna or Dale Earnhardt died. I wondered if I would ever enjoy racing again. Decades later, it still makes me sad. Do i watch racing? Oh yeah, of all sorts! NASCAR to America's Cup, King of the Hammers to Dakar. Every time I see someone get passed, every sketchy corner, and every crash reminds me that they are pushing the limits. They are seeing the world in a way most of us never will. They are heroes. And they have a special seat, right next to God.
@@jasonpetrich4141 The Intimidator was an icon. I lived in Nashville when he died and I watched that whole city mourn. The Gaylord Entertainment Center had a memorial service and there were thousands of us, men and women, all races, all ages, all together with a tear in our eye.
