I am honestly speechless. I don't how many times I've watched this and just broke down crying. 2:13 the transition here was so well executed and made it all the more emotional and when you started sing about how they're still our best friends even when dead, Jesus Christ, that hit me hard. The lyrics are so powerful and the music just creates this bitter sweet vibe, of "I miss them yet I'm happy they were in my life" then you hit us with the actual video portion and it just perfection This became one of my new favorite songs...Thankyou for sharing this with us 🐾❤
I am so happy to hear that you love it.. this song is definitely one of my favourite songs I’ve written. It means the world to know it touches others as it does me 💛🙏🏼
Wow. Did I ever have flashbacks to when Jessica was born and our Lab Eastwood was 11. It was bittersweet seeing her grow up and him slow down over the next few years. Lost him in 2004.
Cat owner here but the feelings are pretty much the same. Louie, my avatar, is 15 and not the terror of the yard he was just a few years ago. He has arthritis and maybe some kitty dementia and I think he realizes he's not what he used to be. Kinda like an old man. They get old way faster than we do and it's painful to watch them fade away. But all you can do is love them as they are. After all, they always seem to do that for us.
He’s singing about my puppy, too. Oh how I wish they could live forever or at least as long as me 😢😘🐶♥️
I agree with you 100% .. I wish they lived longer, dogs are the best
Absolutely love this song. Gives me chills. I can relate to the lyrics because I am a true fur baby lover.
💛🙏🏻 thank you so much for watching
How does this not have over a million views..
🙏🏻 thank you, I guess I just more people to share it

You have no idea how much this is being shared in Doberman groups. You have spoken for all of us when words failed us.

Another BIG hit Brian. Love the little smile on your face when you look at Lincoln while your singing your song. Best friends forever!
