Amazing how nice and kind and genuine he was considering the fact he's been in dementor castle for the last 13-14 years AND had his soul literally sucked out of his body before it went back in. The dementors literally had already stolen all of the happy memories he had until there was nothing left but his bare soul. No one can imagine what that's like, and yet Sirius managed to be sane and kind after everything he's been through and lost. No matter what, plot or not, I hated the fact he ended up dying so early on. I mean how much more psychological trauma, including being emotionally destroyed every time he has opened up to love, does Harry have to endure? No thanks. You know, the Harry Potter series gets dark and gloomy enough, but the thing about stories that get us invested are the positive happy times that the main characters are fighting *for*. Those times became rare in successive Harry Potter installments, book and movies, and it just became all doom and gloom for the most part and adding on things like "hey here's the loving father figure you've always been wanting (literally in the mirror of Erised) and he's going to be there for you and help you feel secure and... JK.. just as you were becoming the closest he's now dead (because of course) so you can drop that vital stability in your life and stay chronically traumatized.
And also what she did with Lupin, both Padfoot and Mooney should've had better endings in the books and especially the movies. I mean the psychological vitality Harry has after all he has been through is unbelievable. Rarely do people stay so psychologically strong after all of that. It takes a superhuman amount of mental strength to carry on as well as Harry did after he defeated Voldemort.
Agreed. Sirius' character feels wronged to me to say the least. Of only the few people in his life that he loved and treasured, one ends up a traitor, two dead ( while he's framed for it ) and one believes the said accusation while he's rotting away at Azkaban, no happy memories left whatsoever. Even after breaking out of there he's to stay undercover not to mention his family home he'd rather stay the farthest from. All this suffering just to end up being sucked into a veil, having done nothing when he'd the potential to do everything. Seriously, what'd have happened if he lived a little more, maybe died after killing a couple death eaters at battle of Hogwarts? Evn better if he'd raised Teddy and lived with Harry at Grimmauld palace where Kreacher 'd changed for better.

As much as I love their characters I believe their endings are just perfect, it shows how not everyone even your love ones might survive a war, although the thing that I hate the most was how Lupin’s death happened off screen:’(

Sirius' fate seems to me the most unfair of all. True he'd his douche moments with Kreacher and when he was bullying Snape, almost killing him once . But it is that against having ostracized by family, losing two of his best friends ,cheated by one ,while being framed for the latter's murder and chucked in Azkaban, not to mention the last two years after he escaped having to lock himself up in the last place he ought to be. What pains me the most is that his vast potential was least made use of, like legit all anyone benefitted from him was through material stuff he owned, his motorcycle, Firebolt, Grimmauld palace, the mirror..all when he could ve been so much more, only if he'd bit more time. It almost seemed as if he was brought in just to bring some emotion , nevertheless that was a clean job done
