Hello. I also have a 22 Si. When installing the hardwire kit into the same fuse spots as you did in the video, for the parking mode, does it or can it in any way drain the battery at all with the parking mode on all the time? I just worry that it does and that i can come back to my car with a drained battery. So I'm wondering if the fuse taps are or should be necessary to use with the second fuse in, in order so that that does not happen? Thank You in advance.

@nprform hmm. I got mixed responses online about this. Some people say they are directional and that the prong furthest away from the wire is considered the hot and should be connected to the side of the fuse that has power. I was paranoid and went back to test with my multimeter which side was hot on the cars fuses and lined it up accordingly. I'm not sure if it will cause issues if it's in the incorrect position as I heard the electricity doesn't flow correctly and can potentially cause a fuse to blow. I just double checked to be sure, however I did see some people online saying they are bidirectional as well. So truly I'm not sure but just in case I double checked
@ I also saw online that even if it is directional this amperage wouldn't necessarily cause a fuse to blow anyways, it's when u get to higher amperage as technically if it's a 10amp fuse in the incorrect slot it'll be outputting 20amps as it's incorrectly travelling. If the fuse slot is only rated for 10 amps that's where the issue can arise. However, this is all stuff I read online and could be misunderstanding completely. even though I went back and checked u saying they aren't directional gives me more confidence in the whole thing
There are numbers at the top and bottom of each row of fuses. You count up or down from the number on the fuse box. For example: the second row begins with “8”, so you just count down two fuses to find #10.

The hardwire kit has a built-in low voltage safety features that cuts off power when the voltage drops below 11.8V.

No, just run the wire to the side of the airbag and behind the rubber door seal.
