Incredible breakdown of how Stoic principles can elevate our everyday interactions! The points on emotional resilience and confidence in silence really struck me - it’s true, people are naturally drawn to that kind of calm strength. Definitely going to apply these insights

I was applying stoic principles at work before I'd even heard of stoicism. Anyone from an agency labourer to a CEO felt at ease during crisis if I was involved. I didn't stress, I'm just there to do my job as best as possible & unshakeable even when my own mistakes cost a lot because I knew I'd done the best with the information I had. Outside of work though, my life's often a disaster, I react first and think later. I've wasted my life's savings and failed in what seemed like amazing relationships. I've nothing left to ruin in my personal life & feel somewhat relieved about it. Now is time to begin living well, basic but well.

Thank you for sharing your journey! It’s incredible to hear how you’ve naturally embodied Stoic principles at work, providing a calming presence during crises. That kind of resilience is truly admirable! It’s also completely understandable to face challenges outside of work-life can be unpredictable and overwhelming at times.
Recognizing where you want to improve is a powerful first step, and it sounds like you’re ready to embrace a new chapter. Focusing on living well, even in simple ways, can lead to profound changes. I’m rooting for you as you navigate this path of self-discovery and growth! If you ever want to share more about your experiences or insights, I’d love to hear them.

We cannot choose our external circumstances, but we can always choose how we respond to them.- Epictetus

Absolutely! Epictetus' wisdom reminds us that while we may not control our external circumstances, we always have the power to choose our responses. This perspective is incredibly empowering, as it places the responsibility for our emotional well-being squarely in our hands.

I record my voice using a microphone and software GarageBand. After recording, I edit the audio with CapCut to add reverber.

I appreciate your viewpoint! The strategies discussed are about fostering genuine connections and understanding human behavior, not about manipulation. Stoicism encourages us to reflect on our intentions and actions. It's all about building meaningful relationships based on authenticity. What do you think is a better approach?
