Then it cuts right back to Starved with his fast pace, like he's scaring Tails and reminding him that the old Eggman is gone now
I honestly feel like this song perfectly represents fear, and what Tails is going through. The song progressively gets more intense, since Tails is in more danger with every second passing
I also feel like that as it speeds up Tails is getting more and more braver and when the intense part kicks in then Tails has lost most of his fear but is still a bit scared because of Sonics dead body and Eggman standing over it

Then it reaches the climax, the instrumentals are loud,bombastic and feel like YOUR apart of the danger. Like at any moment. He’ll strike. And than after a few moments…it slows down. The instrumentals and the vocals. Almost like the beast know as starved is slowly drawing his last breath and tails ending the song. Fight and Flight as easily become one of my top favorites from this mod with (old) endless,fatal error and roundabout. Fight and Flight fits Vs.exe. It’s still sad the mod got canned, but re-listening to it gives me a tone of appreciation for it than I once didn’t have. And starved is easily one of the best iteration of the bad egg just because he feels…..”real” like..he could exist in our world as a cannibal. But besides the point. Fight and Flight is a very underrated song.
