After losing a fight against Sonic, Eggman retreats and crashes into a long abandoned snowy zone base. The crash permanently scars his face and leaves his red face to the open elements.
Eggman was stuck, on his last legs in the freezing cold, nearly destroyed base.
The cold started to get to Eggman so using whatever scrap metal he could find he built a furnace to keep him warm while he tries to regain some strength. Unfortunately for the doctor, that doesn’t work all too well.
Days turn into weeks that turn into months, Sonic and his friends grow worried, so they decide to search for Eggman, all the while the doctor runs out of rations and ventures out and finds a flicky that died of frostbite, he takes it back to the base and cooks it and for the first time in ages, the doctor felt… Warm... But just as fast as the warmth came… It went, replaced by the bitter cold and crippling hunger.
With the cold came an idea… To satisfy his hunger he’d capture nearby flickies to consume… But soon that wasn’t enough, the cold was too much… The hunger was too much and so a new idea came.
He’d repurpose the furnace and metal scraps to visit an old friend… After all this time he’ll have shown that hedgehog his warm embrace… But not without the rebellion of a pesky little fox that arrived at the dinner table a bit too late.
Hurry now fox, the food is getting cold.

Love how he still keeps his face and isn't just another creepy pasta design plastered onto him. Makes him feel more like a human that was simply pushed to the brink of insanity and hunger, and on his last legs freezing and alone, he makes a decision that cost him his humanity. Chromatics, design, voice acting and instrumental are all peak, well done!

honestly really love this retake on the story ngl, it feels a whole lot more realistic rather than *"oh! eggman randomly found a burned flicky all of the sudden and decided to taste it."* he NEEDED to consume the flickies because he was *starving.*

I never understood why the fuck Starved skin just became red after eating mobian flesh. This design not just looks better, it makes sense, now instead of simply having tomato skin, he is now only obsessed with the taste of mobian meat, psychological changes, but not physical ones. 10/10 design

I also like how this song actually gave tails a chromatic suited for his age. It’s not like the og sonic exe mod had a bad chromatic for tails though, it’s just it made him sound much older than he actually is. This chromatic perfectly shows the fact that he’s like 5 years old (only 5 if it’s taking place in the cd timeline which im pretty sure is usually the case)
it would make sense if his skin just got burned on the explosion of the death egg, since he first ate mobian meat on the death egg's rubble.
He apparently ate mobians before they cooled down so he burned himself eating them, the rest mostly comes down to the creators art style mostly being monochromatic (Like TMI)

I like how tails isnt really.. scared or bawling his eyes out, even though his best friend is literally cooked. Tails seem more weirded out and confused in the video if anything. Its as if hes questioning why out of all the things Eggman would do to his greatest enemy, he would..eat them..then sing about it.
I don't think Tails had met Sonic yet in the original starved lore due to it taking place in CD which came before Sonic 2.

Tails in this video just doesn't show that and is just like, "Dude, what the hell.." I see where you're going though.

What makes this good is that he still has eggman’s humor, the devious face and everything, but there’s one thing that’s really creepy. It sounds like he WANTS to devour you, not a corrupted neck voice tbh, but what’s odd too is that he SOUNDS MORE EVIL then doctor robotnik.
You can hear the genuine concern in tails' voice. You never fail to disappoint, Red!

the definitive FoF in my opinion, it’s not over the top and retains the same vibe of malicious and foreboding instrumental. It really feels like Predator Vs. Prey and the vocals/lyrics really add to that rather than try to take away from it or make something entirely different.

this has absolutely surpassed all the expectations i had for this. it does such a good job at capturing the encroaching intensity of the original while spicing it up with that redseas flavor. not to mention the last minute and a half with lyrics working SO WELL into the song, it felt just right. once again red, you've outdone yourself again. and a bonus shoutout to everyone else involved, mainly wishy and dani's awesome character art of the visualizer, and the great voice acting on frostiiz and dani's part. and everyone else too! you all did fucking amazing and i cant wait to see what the future has in store.

i like how with this take on starved eggman just embraced the chef identity, nothing too scary he just went "i should get the proper attire if i truly wish to enjoy this discovery"
edit: when chef egg (simple name for him) startled tails it honestly sounded like he was tasting sonics corpse before i realized he was cutting into him instead
I like how at one point in the visualizer, you can see his apron literally says "KISS THE CHEF" (something like that, it's partially cut off).

ok that impressed me, the song nailed the feeling of melancholy especially with the ending when tails knows he won't win so he wants to be at least "appetizing". Even this starved look was excellent, it gives a sinister feeling when you stop to analyze your appearance and ask yourself "why are your glasses broken?" maybe someone trying to defend themselves while being killed, and it makes more sense compared to og as there is no plausible explanation for their appearance (which is also incredible, but seems to belong to a analog horror)

I’m late to this but HOLY FUCK. This is amazing! Art design and the lyrics, even the death egg motif! Even when the music was slow and then it went to fast, like a literal panic setting in or tails realizing just “Ah, fuck I’m not getting out of this one..”

the lyrics makes me feel like this is the silly billy of fight or flight remixes. they add so much to the atmosphere of the song and really helps this stand out as probably the best remix of FOF so far.
The voices, instrumental, lyrics, designs and art, it all just works so so well together. This has quickly become one of my favorite FNF remixes of all time. Poor Tails though, this iteration made his fate clear.

Id like to think throught the entire thing, the room is searing, and the "cold" Eggman mentions at the end [for eggman] is the fleeting feeling of remorse and sanity of his former self, and the cold for Tails being the bitter and devastating feeling of loss, not only in Sonics passing, but in his own failure to avenge the ones lost to Eggman. There are so many other things I could take a way from this, but I think ill leave it here. Uet another absolute banger by one of the most underated [yet rappidly growing!] Redseas, cant wait to here more from you!

Prefer it over the common design he as, and the lyrics really do show how far his hunger grown upon him. His need of satisfaction, hunger, and certainly a great *feast.* Love it! The instruments and rawness from this is just, marvelous peak overall.
This didn't feel like a regular remix, it felt like a final battle in every good way! One of my favorites made absolutely better!

Agreed… as a fan since Fnf since December 2020… seeing mods evolve feels so good
my favorite part about this is the design, seriously it feels so much more concise and logical compared to the original, i think the song's high-end needs a bit more pop though, compared to sturm's his had a clear high-end melody with the FLEX guitar and especially near the end with death egg robot on that one instrument

og starved felt like a dream, nightmare a really unlikely fate of Sonic's world.
This one feels less terrifying BUT A LOT MORE THREATING AND SCARY as this is actually Eggman we knew before.
I feel like the only reason why his flesh is red was maybe because of his desires of using flames may have caused his flesh to like burn or smth, but honestly this is a 10/10 fight or flight remix. Also his flesh might be red from over using his furnace or smth with flames may have burned his flesh so badly that its not red instead of decaying from killing and eating other sonic characters.

Honestly I love the new design. Yes the old one was more spookey, but you can easily tell that it’s an exe. But with this design feels like something sega of America would pull if they didn’t have any restrictions back in the classic era. Which in my opinion makes it alot more scary.

Fight or Flight is my favorite song from the Exe OST, and this cover does it justice, it keeps the intensity of the original while doing something new, and the lyric section is amazing
