    It's probably a little bit of everything. Ive read that woman on average do a real good job of paying back the loans. But cultural issues such as the hiearacl nature of their community. If the husband or sons ask for the money woman are obligated to give it to them. They only collateral they have to aquire the loan was the good in there house hold. I don't think the solution to when somehting isn't always working is to just build schools and hospitals like it's the magic bullet. There a reason why nations are in perputal poverty it's not just becaus ethere aren't enough hospitals or enough schools. There also no enough oppurtunity and you also want the soultion to be sustainable and somehting that they be able to be indpendent. Not relying on western saviors.

    Your sample size is too too low to make any type of conclusions. I am wondered how the result was published

      It's an ethnographic study?
