I have been,n sewing for about 35 years. I learned how to hand sew in the 4-H club, so the first garment I made was actually handmade. I learned how to use a sewing machine in home ed as your husband described his experience. I am teaching my 8-year-old granddaughter to sew, so I purchased your book for her. Also to support you for all your content on TH-cam. I purchased an autograph copy. Pre-ordered and received it yesterday. As I was watching this video, I was searching for fabric to make a wool coat! That is also on my bucket list for sewing. For your second book, think about an alteration one. I would love to have all your techniques in one place. Thank you for all the good context.
Thank you so much for purchasing my book! :D I hope your granddaughter loves it and loves sewing. I'm so excited for her! Being able to create something is the best feeling. :D
I really do appreciate all the videos you have done over the years. Thank you for showing all of us things about sewing. BTW, I'm looking forward to getting the book too!
Your videos are a go to resource for me! Thanks for your hard work and keep making them so we can keep watching! I definitely plan on making a living from this hobby one day and the road to figuring out how is so much fun!
I love Professor Pincushion. Tova has such a natural talent for teaching and explaining things clearly. Very often when I watch her vids and follow along, I feel like she is literally reading my mind as she answers all the questions that pop up for me all along the way! It's almost comical! She really knows her stuff and gets straight to the point, making the focus on the craft, which is refreshing! I love her down to earth, honest, no nonsense approach and always refer to her vids first when I need to get over a sewing hurdle. This was fun to watch and nice to see the adorable relationship she has with her husband! Thank you and Happy Holidays to the Professor Pincushion Channel!
Awesome. Can you do a video on making a fabric swatch book? I would buy one if you created it. I’m not familiar with many fabrics and need to learn more. Thank you.

How to shorten a gored skirt? I need to shorten one by 5" and am not sure what to do with all the extra fabric when I turn up the hem. Many thanks!
If I cut horsehair braid in half will it ruin the effect? Need more and repurposing old hem..
