Dude, I honestly really like the idea of the touring vocalist wearing that mask. The fact that it was his idea to keep himself secret so we could concentrate on the memory of Wayne was a beautiful gesture.
Its rumored to be the lead singer of Dope which i can kind of feels from the vocals but i love they are trying to re-create one of the most unique voices to ever exist for music

My wife and I met in 2000. We were both metalheads. Then one day, the same year, we were surfing some music site and discovered Static X. We love you guys to this day and super stoked for new album and tour! :)

It was sad what happened to Wayne. The same with Layne Staley, Alice was able to reboot successfully while paying homage to Layne.. I think this is a fitting way to celebrate the memory of Wayne and the music of Static-X. Maybe after this cycle the frontman can unmask and Static-X can move forward into the next chapter of their story.. I can dig it.
It would be awesome if Soundgarden or Nirvana did this too but it's highly unlikely.

Mr.Ghost - Wayne is an awesome guy also his wife is very nice, i had the honor of meeting wayne, waited an hour in the freezing cold for wayne to take a shower and get settled in his tour bus. Managed to get he and his wife to sign my Cult of Static poster

It's a true celebration and possibly the best tribute any band could ever do to a fallen musical engineer and musical genius. Wayne gifted the American music scene with something very special. It was probably ahead of its time even, "if you ask me", but I'm very glad to see you guys getting this machine runnin again. Right now, feels like the perfect time. The possibilities are truly endless with Static-X
I have to see you guys live in concert again. Right now is the time to give it the hardest swing yet. Im talking a minimum of 4 new albums, and that 4th one is going to be the best one that lasts as long as Spacetime lasts.
I'll never forget hearing Static X for the first time and thinking how unique they were compared to other bands at the time. I luckily got to see them back then a few times at shows like Ozzfest(which I miss dearly). Such a bummer Wayne left us and his family so soon. RIP. Lets all be happy that we're getting more music from the band. I know that I'm stoked for it.
This is truly amazing, the talent behind all of this and how Xer0 (Edsel) truly appreciates the honor he has. This is TRULY and idea that will be remembered and I do hope Static-X continues to make music, I know Wayne would want it. You can feel the passion in this and the care that’s being put into this, THIS is what music and Rock is all about.

I got backstage passes to the family values tour when they came to my town, and knocked on Static-X's dressing room door. They welcomed me in without hesitation. Wayne was an amazing person, and I spent a good amount of time hang out with the fellas. Wayne suggested we take some pictures for me to remember the experience. It was such an amazing gesture. I still cherish that memory almost 20 years later.

This is honestly the happiest thing I had in my life in all of 2018. Late in the year I saw the Project Regeneration promo and it was like I was dreaming. I didn't know Wayne personally, but Static-X resonated with me so well. I got to see Static-X at Ozzfest one year when I was a teenager and it really solidified why I loved the band and still do. You have a very unique sound and I was so distraught that Wayne passed. It's weird not knowing someone and being so connected to them. Wisconsin Death Trip is definitely my favorite album and this whole project is an amazing tribute to Wayne in my opinion. I think the mask is amazing and I would kill to see the tour. I pre-ordered one of the album packages immediately after seeing the teaser. It's a dream come true and I'm glad that so many other people loved and appreciated Wayne, and all of Static-X. I can't wait to hear the new album. Thank you all so much!

I never would have imagined that I would get new material from Wayne ever again. But I'm so glad that we get to hear his voice once more with the original crew.
It really means a whole lot to me. 20 years ago I was 15 it's incredible how teen and early adulthood were spent listening to Static-X.
Although Wayne is no longer with us all I look forward to the evolution of Static-X.

I am not keen on it but think it is cool for other fans. After all, this wouldn't be the first time a band has a new vocalist. Priest and Maiden come to mind. Nothing beats the original but it can still be good. Enjoy!

I'm 41, graduated high-school in 2000. Don't listen to metal much anymore but started thinking about past deployments and what I listened to back then. Static X was the first I thought of and listened to you guys again. We miss you Wayne, you had the best vocals in the business.

The bar is set very high, as a fan I do. Wayne is easily part of my Metal Hierarchy. I just hope your "lead" pays the tribute respectfully and closely like the what bad wolves did. Static-X will always be a timeless for me.
Static X has a major influence to me on why I was hooked to metal. After watching and listening to this, I feel like Wayne never died at all.
Already pre ordered the album awhile back and I'm just happy to have new Static-X music to look forward to. Wayne is gone and I'd rather have the show go on than not at all. The new guy sounds really good and looking forward to newer music with a band that can work together now.
One thing. I saw you guys at 98 rock fest in Tampa years ago with chevelle, stained and disturbed headlining. Wayne said you'd guys would come back to the Tampa area at the end of the show and it never happened. Understandably so. I know Florida sucks and I wont give you guys crap for not coming back here (its Florida, I get it) but one day I hope to see you guys live again. Best of luck to you guys.

It’s like freeing the spirit of your friend from a witch’s curse- his body is gone but you can free the soul and create a memorial for him. I am so glad that the guys are bringing Wayne back for all the fans. Being a fan for 20 years from ‘98, so see what that one person had turned him into, this makes me feel good. Third time live will hopefully be the best one yet

Thank you so much for adding dates in the Pacific NW. I really needed something like this, especially today. So many tours skip us that I've gotten to the point where I can't stand living here anymore. Trust me, it took a lot to push me that far. I was born here, this is my home.
At least now if I can't make it to LA, Vegas, or Michigan I can at least see you here. I still prefer the lineup of the first leg, though. It's nothing against Wednesday 13, they're very good live. But Dope is fucking awesome live, and I keep missing out on DevilDriver.
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now...

I think this is a great way to honor the man, static X was the first metal show I ever went to. It’s a formative part of me as a metal musician. Also, Tony, it was super great and a real honor to meet you in Austin a couple weeks back! Wish I had had the time to tell you all that in person, haha.
THANK YOU for rounding back to some missing spots after the international part! As a lifelong fan of Static-X, it hurt to see places close to where I used to live, but not where I am now. I see that Portland has been added towards the end, and I WILL BE THERE!

I waited for an hour in the freezing cold to meet wayne, he had to take a shower and get settled, i was the only fan that stuck around to meet him and it was worth it! I got he and his wife to sign mu Cult of Static poster. Wayne and his wife were VERY nice, sad they’re gone but they live forever in our hearts and memory.

0:35 oh yeah that's Edsel Dope singing. Seems like he's trying his best to emulate Wayne's style rather than his own but I feel his voice is most recognizable here. I can't wait for the tour this is gonna be great.

I saw Wayne static performing in Illinois back in the day. And this new guy Xer0, literally brought me to tears on how much he reminds me of Wayne static, I'm glad the music lives on.

Let's be honest here, and pls don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of Tony Campos, but the fact is that him and Wayne didn't talk for over 10 years before Wayne died, and now a few years later and he is going to come in and profit off ofWayne's band? It seems kind of strange to me...but then to top it off you go out and get a guy to wear a fitted Wayne mask in order to tour and make a record??

It’s weird having Static X without Wayne but, if Wayne’s family approves of this, I’ve got less of a problem with this move.
Time to stop being subtle and start being blunt. Tera Wray was the one and only reason Tony and Wayne quit talking. She thought she belonged up there with the band and there is a reason Wayne didn’t do a single interview after Tera where she wasn’t stuffing herself in his front pocket. Now Tera is dead, and so now Wayne’s friends can pay tribute to their fallen brother. Wayne spent like the last 6 months of his life locked away in his house in Arizona and not talking to anyone. But Tera was sure there to watch him fucking die. So yeah, I get see one of the favorite bands from my youth again with almost every original member. They were 75% of the band, and Tera was 0%. But she was responsible for 90% of the bullshit. Get over yourself, with your high horse bullshit

What an awesome way to pay tribute to an awesome vocalist that is missed deeply by many..some say it’s wrong or disturbing but I believe that Wayne Static would be honored to know that he is so missed in the Rock community that we still need his music his crazy vocals. Keep Rockin Static-x
