- Its a short one today but a good one in my opinion. I mostly talk about and build some much needed Walthers Track Bumpers I recently found at my local thrift. I do also talk about some future plans with the old Dairy Queen from the previous layout. Lastly, I did change the title format after EP 25 and on. No one cares but I'm noting for myself. GREAT find on those bumpers! Paint tip on those smaller items...roll blue painters tape into a loop. Stick bottom side of loop to the table and stick the parts to the top side of the loop.

Great video TR and tutorial abt your awesome find of the bumpers at the thrift store! You made out like a bandit finding those for $1.99 I've done some Pre-Order shopping today lol and 3 of the pieces were 2 GP38-2's and an MP15AC which is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE LOCOMOTIVE! @@TopRailroad you betcha my friend. I could shop for locomotives and rolling stock every day like the next person! I'll definitely have quite a collection of both once I receive it all lol! Its addictive but I have my wife to help me from going overboard.

Now I know were I'll be sitting and watching the movements on your railroad, on that little hill on the grass behind the Dairy Queen. At my last job I operated a Trackmobile and moved various types of tanks cars in and out of our plant. One day I learned that real track bumpers like ones you built won't stop a loaded seven car train full of brine. I was having one of those mornings where the crew chief was worse than a helicopter parent named Karen, so she pushed one too many buttons and I'll show her! Later I was suspended for three days and got a break from her as well.

Bumpers look really great, you should get some rust power an add to the yellow Bumpers. It was great video 👍
Bumpers look good! You might want to invest in a pair of sprue cutters. And an airbrush. Will save time.

Heck of a deal bud! I’ve used these as well though I didint use the bottom piece, just didint look as real but in my case I just glued the bumper in place to the rails, that’s just me though 😎

👍 Short but good, I was actually about to suggest bumpers! They certainly aren't needed but really helps if you don't want cars to fall off the table... That can be tragic. Can't wait for sunday, and the DQ! That is a super cool building.

Love the DQ Grill & Chill, have one on my N Scale tiny layout and one of my favorite structures if not my favorite. What a deal on the HO Walthers bumpers. Usually about $12.00 for a pack of 12 :)

With just a little work I changed my DQ to a Burger King. Already had the classic Dairy Queen Walthers kit.

I don’t think the DQ will really fit in it is not very detailed like the rest and the bushes aren’t even growing out of dirt. And also the sign looks a little weird but this is just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt.
