Cycle Torque's Darren Smart takes the Husqvarna TE449 for a spin through the hills of the Sunshine Coast. The 2011 TE449 includes a whole raft of chnages to the outgoing TE450 - as Smarty found out.
Hey i just picked up a 2011 txc for a real good deal,question is im used to old fashioned honda motors(xr200,400 etc)these motors sound sort of hollow is that normal?i know i read somewhere its very veryyy light motor.
I like my 2011 TE449 Have done the desert 100 also have done the VCGP 3 times and look forward to my fourth time this spring on my 2011. I have dropped it a few times with minimal damage I have done a few days of mixed road and trail and put over two hundred miles on one day. Yes that was a long day and yes the seat is not comfortable for long road rides but, that's not what it is built for.
The 2004 te450 Husqvarna this is 2023 an overall I'm looking for advice! Now that all of these years have gone by from the 2004 model husky what is the overall do's and don'ts on that bike? I'm just looking for a trail bike I'm not rich it's going to have to be second-hand I know where there's one for sale for 2600 and I'm asking for advice should I buy it or should I go get a little Honda 230 CC because I'm disabled but I rode motorcycle on and off throughout my life and I'm only 5ft 9in tall in my feet need to be on the ground what do you think? I Ride Slow mostly want to get to the Backwoods with my Gun or Bow , a little Camp gear! Will 450 husky be good for me? I don't want trouble! I want low maintenance! will that 2004 be good for me? please help thank you Mark southern Missouri Ozarks USA its February 2023
Just watching one for 2500eur,te449 2011 same as this one,would be my first Husqvarna because in ktm and Kawasaki guy but Im Looking to try something New.
@helpyoukillme I agree with on every point almost. As time pass you see bike with those thick banana slog frames, takes away the airy look of a dirt bike. With a gas tank stacked over a frame and a seat over a gas tank upsets a flowing line. The only line you see is a sloping line. Which to me, are low rider frame bikes. But this new husky is Ugly. Seat is to long, and no good frame design.
no shit video what a surprise another review to scared to say anything bad about a bike they have been lent. You drop that bike and that exhaust is fucked so you will always be scared of pushing yourself on that bike because its fragile. No frame as well why do all european motorbike have scaffolding instead of a proper big smooth frame that improves handling and looks. PS the bikes fun, it doesn't pull but i'm a crap rider so i don't know for sure i did jumps and rode around the grass,,,,,,,,,,

I dont mind the long seat, on steep hill climb i often end up seat on my gas tank, the new husky would make it more comfortable lol
