The Zigzag Waffle Blanket is created using an easy 1-row repeat. The pattern includes a link to a full demo video showing how to work the stitches. This video addresses in greater details a few questions about how this stitch actually works and what your rows will look like as you begin to work the pattern.
Can you start from the beginning in a video I learn better from visual and I bought the pattern but if you could do a starting the project I would greatly appreciate it
Hi - This is the "Tips" video which you will find linked at the bottom of the pattern. The full video demo is linked at the beginning of the pattern. See where it says, "special stitches and video demo"? It is highlighted in yellow. Click on that video demo link to be taken to the step-by-step visual instructions. Thanks, Lisa
Need to see how 2nd row id done. It says back loop yhen lower loop. I need to see this please
I'm not sure what you mean? This pattern doesn't have instructions like that. If you have a question on a specific pattern of mine, you can email me directly. My contact details are in all my patterns.
Thank you for this fantastic pattern, I love the thick feel of it. I have watched both of your videos and your work lays flat, I’ve done about 8 rows and mine wants to curl, have you experienced this before?
No, I haven't had any curling. What yarn and hook size are you using? Sample was done with size 3 DK weight yarn and a K (6.5 mm) hook.
@@hollanddesignscrochet I’m using a Caron cake, not sure weight as I had used this for another project and no longer have the label and a size K hook. I will do a few more rows and see what happens, thank you.
@@afoley3617 Yes, Caron Cakes are like size 4 worsted weight, so a bit heavier than what I used for this one.
@@hollanddesignscrochet okay, thank you so much.
@@afoley3617 If you Google the name & type of any yarn you are using you should be able to see or read a description of the yarn gauge, fiber content, and hook recommendation size. Hope this helps for future projects. I always try to save my labels but sometimes they just get misplaced or lost. 🧶🫶
Nasıl yapıldığını örerek gösterseydiniz teşekkürler
This is a crochet pattern, not a knitting pattern. The video demo is linked in the pattern. It is written in standard Amercian crochet terms. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/zigzag-waffle-blanket
How do we do the stitch

Is that a certain Mandela design that your project is lying on? 🥰
This is the Bliss Afghan which I designed in 2023. Yes, it works great as a background for photos, but it was just a wedding anniversary gift which I made for our 16th last year and it's on our bed. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bliss-afghan
@hollanddesignscrochet Just purchased it! Thank you so much! It's very lovely! 🥰
What yarn is this?

@@hollanddesignscrochet thank you!!!
Good morning! May I verify. DK weight (3) with a K (6.5 Mm)
Yes, that is correct. The lighter yarn with the larger hook is perfect for this design.
Video on FB, no pattern, video on YT, still no pattern, really 'useful'.
Hi - This is a paid pattern. The link to the full video demo (if needed) is in the written pattern. You can find it here: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/zigzag-waffle-blanket
Full youtube tutorial of this stitch for FREE by Naztazia😊
Thanks for your comment. That is not the case. The pattern from Naztazia is a different stitch. Hers is pretty too, yes, but not the same pattern.
I don't see the difference both look the same to me. @hollanddesignscrochet
@@letsbehonst8611 Well, if you had my pattern, the differences in the stitch would be obvious to you, but if you think they look the same, then by all means use the free one online by someone else. Cheers.
@@virginiaroberts4921 Great, but that's a completely different pattern, different stitches.
@@virginiaroberts4921 Hers uses a bunch of ch-3 repeats, nothing like my pattern.
