- Eli was about to move down south and wanted a video to remember his car back up in the north east so we linked up and created this memory. Personally I'm not crazy about the Chevy Sonic and I'm not a fan of small cars but seeing someone like Eli just having fun with the platform and enjoying it was an awesome sight.

I love it when someone modified an ordinary car, not the fast-version of the car or a sports car with high horsepower and stuff, just an ordinary everyday car. It just screams " i can buy something nicer, but I love my car the way it is. So I'm going to personalize it as my own"

It's the headlights. I have a 2013 Sonic LT with a 1.4 turbo (Sedan, not hatchback) and the headlights are quite unique.

In october of 2018 my lease ends and Ill probably leave the subie life though, since i wont feel like paying the 11k to buy the car once the lease ends. Thats a start to a build right there. But its my first subie, and I love it :^) havent ridden in many old wrx so i cant compare

I have a sonic of my own it’s blacked out, same LED headlight setup. cold air intake, a catback system, and black/chrome VERDE rims. I’m in love with them and I love this one as well, nice build man, well done.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I like what the owner has done here. allthough in my opinion he could take away the wing. I also think the car seems to be extremely stiff. But that is just me, it's not my car and I respect what the owner has created here. Good job!
The car is stiff due to its airbag suspension system, if the bags are empty the car will stiffen up due to the lack of air in the system, and in my opinion the car looks dope asf. ;)
Aryan Darmeci oh I didn't know it had airbags. I was assuming it was on coils. Regardless, I respect your opinion and besides the spoiler I agree with you. Cheers dude!

Im struggling alot with post production and I feel like some settings are off with my camera. im only shooting with the D3300 and it struggles with low light conditions

I saw this car at nola speed and style.
I just purchased a completely stock red 2013 Sonic 1.4 Turbo hatch and plan on modifying it. But I am definitely not going in that direction. I want to keep it reasonable. Black 15" wheels, dark window tint, black hood, maybe with some type of scoop, an exhaust system, and maybe some graphics. It will be a daily driver, and will need to be capable of taking 2000+ mile trips on the freeway.

I fucking love this Sonic. I have the '13 Sonic LTZ Sedan and I have similar plans. Flares, lower it, stretched tires, I already have the wheels. Love the build man, fuck those haters. What's "rice" is a subjective concept. IMO, this is far from rice.

Why it look like he doesn't cut the front and back fender, he just slap that universal fender flare and make the suspension really stiff like there are no tyre movement whatsoever .
Its so clean i had to hit the like button 💦👌
Also, any idea where your buddy got the flares? The only ones I can find are from Asia and made of metal and I'd rather not add that much extra weight to the car.

#1 Love the car. #2 There's nothing wrong with small cars, at all. And #3 I feel like the video could've been better if Krispy didn't have a bias towards the Chevy Sonic. Just my opinion. 😊
