It was interesting to see the real houses which were used in these iconic films. I remember Peter Butterworth who played the campsite owner in Carry on Camping. Everything was £1… that became a catch phrase in our household!

Unfortunately you have the wrong house from carry on camping, as I have recently visited the road. I matched up the brick work and location of the drive to the bend in the road and parked in the same place as the film.
Your right I was there yesterday and he has the wrong house ..(the mother in laws house)as they were leaving to go on holiday…you are 100 percent right…I matched up the front door and it pretty much looks the same as 1969

@@KnightsLife No, they didn't change the number. Look up number 94 on street view or earthscout. You can see that 94 is the house. Number 87 is not the right house.
Yes it’s definitely number 94 because the house has the top half rendered in white just as the one in the film, as the car pulls away you can match up the telegraph pole’s with street-view easy peasy
