Thanks for your suggestion, its a great controller, I'm sure you'll love it but unfortunately I won't be making an updated video on the controller performance because I'm a variety gamer in my spare time so I RARELY use the same controller for long periods consistently. So my update would be veryyyyyy skewed to my personal experience. But hopefully the controller lasts for you, I haven't heard many durablility issues with this controller so far so thats a plus. Dts x>Dolby for gaming audio. Its much better for positional audio. Less heavy handed on bass, more spacious soundstage. And its not compressed audio either. Costs 20 bucks vs 15 for dolby. But its worth it imo.
Two weeks in so far, Definitely has surprised me…. not trying to fall in love just yet, Wont really know till I hit the 4-6 month mark…. I will say its held up better than the gen 1s elite series… An ive been playin 6-8 hour sessions heavily… One thing I have noticed with this particularly, I have lightened up the heavy hands on the grip… Huge plus overall. Sticks are holding up well. Bumpers triggers and paddles are great… Love the paddle design probably my favorite thing besides the triggers… The input is night an day… dont even need the trigger stops… I really really hope this thing lasts because for 100$ its gotta be the best budget option right now with everything that comes with it… Heck even the case is the same as what you get with an elite series…. Very happy with it! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for competitive edge without busting the bank 💪

Well here we are yet again, To put my opinion on the gambit once and for all, I feel ive had it long enough to know now… What I think pros and cons etc… Overall… Best value for your buck. Not another controller on the market at 100$ that offers what the gambit does, Ive made sure to play a variety of games… and longer sessions to see what this thing really had, Ive played fortnite forza madden cod battlefield halo, minecraft mon hun world hunting games 2k fifa assassins creeds sea of thieves list goes on. The ONLY issue ive had? Is that the RT input sensitivity will go from 0-100 with even the lightest pressure but can be fixed within the app. Reconfigure it. Back to normal…. The elites didnt last a month without something going wrong so definitely try the Gambit if you are looking for all pro features with customization for only 100$. Still using it daily. Its one of the best controllers ive ever had 🤷🏽♂️
Good controller, had it for a year or so to play warzone, thumbsticks are starting to drift. But slide cancelling non stop will do that lol. Gonna buy the ps5 edge when it releases
Great vid thanks for the testing on the response time I got a Wolverine V2 chroma and did latency tests and it was similar 3-4 second response time guess I'll keep my V2 for now

That victrix controller will overclock to 500hz. That’s the difference. The other controllers won’t. Overclocked I tested latency at about 2ms with 500hz polling rate. It will overclocked higher but the controller gets wonky.
You should make a video on rig narcon revolution x and do a versus video. And a suggestion i would say is implement how fast is a controller is compared to other wired controller

I returned 4 elite series 2 because of stick drift issues in apex on this one after 2 months of use nothing, 0 deadzone in alc settings and works perfect but the feeling of controller is just meeeh, waiting for my instinct pro
Just got one today, Overall so far I like it. Specially for the price, 2 year warranty out the box, fast remapping. Kinda blew my mind how easy it is. Love the extra accessories. The weight threw me for a loop but when its wired…. The overall feel is different. Cant really explain it, I dont wanna say cheap… But definitely different… I like it more than the gen 1 elite and the series 2 elite already, I just hope I get the longevity… Tired of replacing controllers. Tired of replacing elite series lol had to branch out, Took a chance on the budget side and color me surprised I like it better than what was supposed to be NEXT LEVEL… those damn things used to be 250-200$ never again will I own an elite. Dont care what gen it is. Series 3 or 57. Theres a reason people have been suing the company. Its a horrible controller…. The only other choice I think from this depending on the experience would be Scuff, Will see in the next 4-6 months!

I love the gambit myself, I always recommend it and it has held up well for me but I try not to get too comfortable cause every controller has its day some day unfortunately. Literally I feel like I’m the only person with this one problem, i have the victrix as well and once I start using the controller pressing the sticks, and when I pull the left stick up, the right stick turns right???? Left stick pulls down for character to move backwards then the right stick turns me LEFT?????????? Keep this in mind, this is my second controller after week after my first controller had the same problem. I’m literally so mad tbh, wasted 100 dollars just to get a firmware problem. Like how does that even happen 😂
Yeah thats crazy weird lol, never heard of that problem before.And the chances of you getting two within a week of each other is crazy😂 I'm happy you can laugh about it though cause that sounds super frustrating. I've had mine for 3 days and already there's a problem with the left stick it has this enjoying click when I pull the stick down just before it hits the rim hehe rim no but I'm being serious I've switched back to the normal series x controller
About the D pad : is the D pad on the Victrix Gambit "smoothie" or more "rigid" compare to "normal" Microsoft controller ?? I use my controller for retro gaming (2D platform, shmups,.... ) and i come from the SNES generation. So i like a good and precise D pad on my controller....

I know this is a weird question but... how big are your hands? I'm considering getting this controller... but my hands are big. The only controller I've been able to comfortably use is the Razer Wolverine Ultimate, but mine is dying. How does it feel in the hands after several hours of play?
LMAO, the question is fine I completely understand. My hands are SLIGHTLY bigger than normal hands. To put this in perspective, i can BARELY palm a basketball. It always slips out my grip after a second or two. With that being said the gambit was a fine controller for me. It never felt too big to hold and my hands felt just fine after 4+ hours of play with it. Could’ve easily played much longer with ease. I recently got the wolverine ultimate and my hands are big. I’m finding that my hands are just way too cramped with the ultimate. Hi! if i have the originale Wireless headset like Xbox wireless headset or TurtleBeach Stealth 700 gen2 (so no Bluetooth but Xbox officially wireless protocol) can I use the Dolby Atmos features included in this controller?
Hey Carlo, I believe so. The dolby atmos feature will work on any set of headphones you plug into the controller. It will work better on certain headphones but it works on all headphones regardless.
I have this controller and love it, its improved my gameplay so much but the audio is so hard to like fine tune, and there is a hissing sound in the headset, do you have the same issue since I want to know if I should get a replacement
Hey boss, I use this on PC. I have an issue where my game audio is super quiet regardless of my options I change. This only happens when I use my headset on my controller.. I use it to stream so I mute gamechat. Any idea??
HI Using this controller I have the impression that the analogs are not quite accurate. Will the settings in the application or putting additional rings from the set on the analogues change anything? At the dead zone setting of 0 they move too fast, if you increase this value they start to move hard (aiming)
Hey Azumi, yea the settings in the application will definitely help but if they dont then yes get additional rings. Theres a bit of experimentation required but its definitely possible to create the perfect sticks on just about any controller especially a controller like the gambit! Let me know how it goes!

I had the Victrix and absolutely loved it. Best back button design and style of triggers I’ve used by far. But…for some reason after less than 2 months of use I have a weird analog stick problem. It’s not stick drift but more of a sudden pull in one direction randomly. Haven’t figured out a cause or solution yet🤷♂️
@@_LaMikey Oh no that sounds really bad, sorry to hear that. I'm thinking of learning how to dismantle controllers so I can teach people how to maybe fix issues like that but idk its a pretty difficult thing lol
How is the deadzone on the controller anybody? There are so many controllers that have too high deadzone and you can’t make microadjustments with them, but they never mention this on their product page so I end up buying a controller I never use. If you have stick drift on a game setting of 0 deadzone, like on apex, than it should be a good controller. Please someone let me know
Hey Edith, great question! Yes you can plug any USB-C cord into the controller so long as the cord fits. The space for the cord is a little unique but any USB-C cord that can fit in that space will work!
Great question! No, there are no slots or profiles for mapped buttons or paddles. So yes, you would have to change them every time you play a new game which is annoying. Funny enough it does have audio profiles you can save your audio settings to and switch between but im sure you wouldve much rathered button profiles instead and i agree with you lol. Hey Sushant, the input delay was lower yes. I was able to overclock it to 1ms. In fact the victrix and the eswap controllers are the only xbox controllers that can get overclocked to 1ms

That’s what I’m currently using, with the ps back buttons. - I loved the battle beaver controllers, but unfortunately they broke on me way too quick, being from UK, it wasn’t really convenient to send it back and forth. Closest I’ve come to purchasing a scuff, is from scuff. However, I’m not a fan of the paddles. I prefer the buttons like the Victrix or battle beaver. Lastly what you recommend purchasing? Nothings really come close to the battle beavers, as they also have the increased stick tension, which helps on warzone, if you’re max sens player.

I know this is a weird question but... how big are your hands? I'm considering getting this controller... but my hands are big. The only controller I've been able to comfortably use is the Razer Wolverine Ultimate, but mine is dying. How does it feel in the hands after several hours of play?
LMAO, the question is fine I completely understand. My hands are SLIGHTLY bigger than normal hands. To put this in perspective, i can BARELY palm a basketball. It always slips out my grip after a second or two. With that being said the gambit was a fine controller for me. It never felt too big to hold and my hands felt just fine after 4+ hours of play with it. Could’ve easily played much longer with ease. I recently got the wolverine ultimate and my hands are big. I’m finding that my hands are just way too cramped with the ultimate. Hey Carlo, I believe so. The dolby atmos feature will work on any set of headphones you plug into the controller. It will work better on certain headphones but it works on all headphones regardless.

Hey boss, I use this on PC. I have an issue where my game audio is super quiet regardless of my options I change. This only happens when I use my headset on my controller.. I use it to stream so I mute gamechat. Any idea??
HI Using this controller I have the impression that the analogs are not quite accurate. Will the settings in the application or putting additional rings from the set on the analogues change anything? At the dead zone setting of 0 they move too fast, if you increase this value they start to move hard (aiming)
Hey Azumi, yea the settings in the application will definitely help but if they dont then yes get additional rings. Theres a bit of experimentation required but its definitely possible to create the perfect sticks on just about any controller especially a controller like the gambit! Let me know how it goes!

I went for the razer wolverine v2 chroma, more expensive than the victrix controller but idk the victrix hasn't been out long enough for me to know if it is reliable

I had the Victrix and absolutely loved it. Best back button design and style of triggers I’ve used by far. But…for some reason after less than 2 months of use I have a weird analog stick problem. It’s not stick drift but more of a sudden pull in one direction randomly. Haven’t figured out a cause or solution yet🤷♂️

V2 chroma is bad for FPS shooters and competitive gameplay because of the weird deadzone.

Hey Ossad, sorry about the late reply. Yes a ps4 controller can but just about as fast especially with a back button attachment.
How is the deadzone on the controller anybody? There are so many controllers that have too high deadzone and you can’t make microadjustments with them, but they never mention this on their product page so I end up buying a controller I never use. If you have stick drift on a game setting of 0 deadzone, like on apex, than it should be a good controller. Please someone let me know

Hey Edith, great question! Yes you can plug any USB-C cord into the controller so long as the cord fits. The space for the cord is a little unique but any USB-C cord that can fit in that space will work!

Great question! No, there are no slots or profiles for mapped buttons or paddles. So yes, you would have to change them every time you play a new game which is annoying. Funny enough it does have audio profiles you can save your audio settings to and switch between but im sure you wouldve much rathered button profiles instead and i agree with you lol. Hey Sushant, the input delay was lower yes. I was able to overclock it to 1ms. In fact the victrix and the eswap controllers are the only xbox controllers that can get overclocked to 1ms

That’s what I’m currently using, with the ps back buttons. - I loved the battle beaver controllers, but unfortunately they broke on me way too quick, being from UK, it wasn’t really convenient to send it back and forth. Closest I’ve come to purchasing a scuff, is from scuff. However, I’m not a fan of the paddles. I prefer the buttons like the Victrix or battle beaver. Lastly what you recommend purchasing? Nothings really come close to the battle beavers, as they also have the increased stick tension, which helps on warzone, if you’re max sens player.
@@sushant6802 I would definitely recommend the victrix, it has a lot of great features going for it all at a low price of 100 dollars. Definitely one of the best xbox controllers right now
