Superb Video again! Marches played are Sarafand by George Wilcocks Namur by William Richards The Mad Major by Kenneth Alford Pride of Princess Street by James Howe Carry On by Herbert Winson The Aberdonian by Duncan Beat Radetzky March by Johann Strauss
Another well-made video, and a couple of perfectly played tunes I was unfamiliar with, thanks. But was it misty, or was there a piece of plastic film on the lens?
A well-decorated cymbal player 👍🏻 Does anyone know why they play the Radetzky march on return to barracks? I have noticed that in a couple of recent videos.
@@jackturtle131 No worries & Welcome buddy. The Foot Guards have a little difference Rank Wise. Two White Chevrons in the Foot Guards is Lance Corporal ( usually other Regiments/Corps in the Army, one Chevron is Lance Corporal ). Three White Chevrons in the Foot Guards is Lance Sergeant ( Corporal )….. ( usually three chevrons in other Regiments/Corps in the Army this would be a Sergeant ).
Very sad to see two heavily armed policemen walking in front. How dispiriting to think that's where we are in 2021....... that such a thing is considered necessary.

Thanks for the listing. I only recognized The Mad Major and Radetzky March.
Gareth chambers is my new favourite drum major after Damian Thomas left. It's also great to hear sarafand once again.

Great photography and sounds,, and the children on their best behaviour, a perfect day in England
Love the band, from Sri Lanka❤
Really good video and its good to have a selection of lesser played marches
Sararand, one of my favorite marches💖

Normally this variety of operational medals suggests a Battalion Pipes and Drums soldier who has transferred or been posted to the Regimental band.
Radetzky March is used for the Support Company, 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards
@@Hjaltland60 Never knew that, every day is a school day, thanks 👍🏼
It's a Company march

I’ll be in Windsor again in a few days :)
I will see this live one day, just hope that Gareth is on duty 👌👌
reminds me of the opening scene from oh what a lovely war
Of course they used the actual Irish Guards band for that , the drum major was immaculate . Bit suspicious about the cymbal player though !
Cool video!
Is amazing 🤩
Can ayone answer why some of the bandsmen and guardsmen NCOs have gold chevrons and others white?
3 white chevrons is a Lance Sergeant rank whereas 3 gold chevrons is a Sergeant.
@@JoeMG14 thanks
Nice vidio.Thanks
Good job!
how come the guy with the cymbles hasn't got any music to follow
Because he knows when too come in!
Better than being there, especially when allowed to join the trombone section and march to the castle.
Thank you🇬🇧
G'day guys why there are Yellow and White stripes as rank ??
Gold Rank/Insignia are Senior NCOs, Sergeants and above.
White Rank/Insignia are Lance Corporal to Lance Sergeant ( Corporal ).

It’s been like that since 2017.
Great video - bit of a shame about the policeman leading the procession - not looking very smart at all.
Armed Police for escort ? Was there some type of threat ? Those aren't toys the Guard have on their shoulders....
