I'm surprised someone would be encouraged by my songs tho lol, I think I tend to write about pretty depressing stuff sometimes. But I appreciate it. About the personality, yes. yes I agree.
I think what makes your songs encouraging is just how raw they are. Maybe cathartic would be a more fitting word than encouraging. Some of them make me feel less alone if that makes sense.
It's not very often that we are treated to a vocalist doing this much plain old "yelling" as an alternative to more common techniques. It either works well or not at all, and I think it worked here even though it's not my preferred style.
