Hey I'm a beginner and the drill bit u used to remove the gel is not one that comes with the kit. Or is it? Which bit would be used for acrylic nail removal from the kit?
    Thanks

I didn't use one that came with the kit, I have a bunch of bits linked on my amazon store front. I would use domed medium or course bit

I've bought this nail drill twice! :-( The first time it lasted 6 months before breaking down. The second time it lasted 13 months before it broke down.
The "breakdown" was the same reason for both. It came up with a short in the cord. I know that I keep excellent care of my drills, so this shouldn't keep happening to me. I clean it up after every use and re-box it. It basically still LOOKS brand new. But, that said, essentially, I am only getting 13 - 15 uses out of the drill before it breaks down which IS NOT GOOD.
I do my own nails now, at home, since COVID-19 which is why I bought the drill to begin with. I do them every three to fours weeks so only having the drill work for barely a year is a real "bummer".
So, the reason for my "Comment" on your channel is this .... since you were reviewing it.... should I keep investing in this drill or choose a different brand? How long are e-drills SUPPOSED TO last? I have heard conflicting information.... some say 1 year others say 10 years. What has been your experience?
I really love the quietness of the drill and it's functionality and ease of use; but, I just feel that I am getting "gangked" on/in the durability department. I don't know what to do. Can you help me?

@@vanessasnailsyt Hi Vanessa..... thanks for the quick response. I appreciate it. Sorry for the delay in mine.
The short is ALWAYS in the cord (the gray part) that connects at the bottom of the drill. I think that I did see you referenced Kupa drills (they can be bought on Amazon too) being a $ 400.00 drill. So, if I bought that one, I shouldn't have this cord shortage problem anymore??? Right? Please advise.
In MY research, in the things that I have read, "they" suggest that once you get your drill you should never have the cord bent in order to avoid this problem. I also found out that there ARE vendors that CAN FIX Kupa drills, if necessary. What are your thoughts on this?
I cannot keep my drill hanging. I do not have the room for that which is why I clean it and rebox it every time. I am just DIYer (at home) and do not have a nail desk nor a nail salon. Do you have any more suggestions that may help me?
I do love your videos and watch them frequently. Any expertise, that you can/are willing to share would be much appreciated. :-)
      Regards,
      Your faithful Subscriber
      Shannon M.

@@yanahil1707 - No, not yet. I am still working with the Delanie; but, I am trying out a different one, from Amazon, with no brand name and to me it it's worse.
I really like the Delanie one which is why I bought it twice. It's affordable and I was able to work with MY Seller, from Amazon, and they sent me a new one. "So far, so good", right now. 🙂
      Thanks for checking in.
