I just ran across this video and enjoyed it. I have a 2008 Duramax and my fuel filter housing failed while I was towing my fifth wheel and left me stranded. I’m not a mechanic but never thought that would fail so catastrophically. I changed the fuel filter on the side of the road hoping that would fix it but ended up being towed. It gave me a P0087 code.
Thanks for the compliment. I didn't know they'd fail that bad either. Wow! I guess everything can fail though, and we have no idea how badly when it does.

Could the pressure from the lift pump be causing the leaks in the factory filter housing?
I was wondering that also, but I had/have no way of checking that pressure, and the new one hasn't leaked a drop. 🤷🏻♂️
