    Another great buffet upload, Tim. You have a great knowledge of the food on the buffet and how to eat it. You're so polite to everyone on the line. Also, you take the time to go over the entire buffet, not passing over items you may not like. Tucson folks can now can fly direct to Seattle via Alaska Airlines very inexpensively. I will be up there enjoying Salty's Seafood Grill soon. Though, I'll probably have to break out my down jacket and long underwear to deal with that weather.

    • @TimLeeLetsGo
      @TimLeeLetsGo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Dave, greatly appreciate your comments. But wait, you're escaping the warmth of Arizona to the cold, wet weather in Seattle?!? 😉. Grin, it a great city... I love the idea of buffets, it's just that I can't eat that much. I'd have gone for the crab, lobster (was there lobsters?), maybe a small bit of prime rib. I can make all the other stuff at home or get it at some other diner type place. And I'd skip dessert; if we wanted dessert after we'd walked off the richer savory food, we could always stop at some dessert place (although I don't like sweet stuff).

    • @TimLeeLetsGo
      @TimLeeLetsGo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey FKT, thanks for taking the time to reach out. I also like the idea of buffets; so much variety and quite a fun experience getting to pick and choose. Practicality wise, there's always that limit of how much one can eat 🙂. I agree, sometimes it's about prioritizing and I do go for stuff I can't make at home. Thank you again 😀

    Amazing buffet. No desserts for me,though. I would have gone back and taken that lox with cream cheese and onion minus the bagel! The oysters were gorgeous and the clam chowder looked to die for. Then of course prime rib. Thank you.

    This is a deal compared to DC.
    Something like this would easily cost in excess of $100.
    Average Sunday brunch alone costs over $75, and it doesn't even come close to the wide selection and quality shown in this video.

    Wow!!! What a way to spend a Sunday. Well, now the pandemic has changed everything. I know that you went back their in 2018. I wonder what Sunday brunch is going to look like after the pandemic passses. I live in Tacoma but never been to Salty’s. I have had my huge Sunday breakfasts though in the Tacoma area back in 2018. I was eating huge breakfasts at Carr’s restaurant. And bar. Sadly though Carr’s has changed to more of a family restaurant and pretty much took the bar out. But it use to bee back then a family restaurant and bar. A lot of us would bee drinking on Sunday but you don’t see that anymore. I guess they want it more kid friendly now days and they really took the fun out of Sunday breakfasts. New staff are their and it is not the same. The restaurant is not even full like what they use to bee. Maybe just maybe a quarter full. Now with the lock down in Washington nobody is their but the staff. Well some of them.

      Gout is 99% hereditary, passed down through family genes! Less than 5% of the population is affected, unfortunately. Uric acid level has a very low positive correlation, contrary to what we'd like to accept whole-heartedly~

      Thieuhua Co
      Thx for your opinion.
      Let us perform an experiment, then.
      Let us begin with a statistically sound sample of 100 adults, 50 male + 50 females, age and ethically diverse.
      We take a blood test with Uric Acid levels. Then, we ask them to consume alcohol. When measured the same, 100% of them will have a rise on their Uric Acid level; NO exceptions!
      Then, do they all show gouty joints? NOPE! Approx. 2-3% of the population.
      Conclusion: there MUST be genetic causes involved, much MORE than diet alone.
      In addition, Asians & Pacific Islanders report the highest cases of gout. What about Scandinavians, then, who consume sea food relatively higher than even Asians? Swedish report a very low cases of gouty arthritis! How do you explain this, please???
