I've heard many covers of this song, and I have yet to be even as slightly moved as I am by Sam Cooke's version...until now. A real professional who knows her craft inside out. So glad she hit the big time again not long after with Private Dancer etc. Lucky me, I've also seen the magnificent Robert Cray twice and his solo on this track highlights just how wonderful he is.
