Oden is usually made with fish paste, it’s minced up fish and turned into other shapes like the ones you had. Some of them consist of other ingredients along with fish, some has squid or octopus. The rubbery noodle like thing is made from yam called Konnayaku. All these food is stewed in the same broth together and the flavour of the broth seeps into the food. It’s very popular in Japan, you can even find it in convenience stores.

Oden is comforting.. eat with some mustard on the side … even 7-11 Oden is pretty good… love having it during winter

The stuff you were eating that you didn't know what it was is called Oden. Most of the stuff you were eating are fishcakes, daikon (radish) and the kind of rubbery stuff that was shaped like a triangle is Konyaku which is made from the Konjac root. People like Konjac because it has zero calories. Oden is just as popular as sushi and ramen in Japan.
It was all SO good!! I've never had it before and I'm hooked :) So tasty and cosy for the cold weather! Thanks for watching!

It’s such a great place!
If you like the outdoors, you can try climbing Mt. Fuji, camping at the foot of Mt. Fuji, fly fishing for brown trout and rainbow trout in the Oshino Katsura River, and lure fishing for largemouth bass at Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka.
**However, the Oshino Katsura River is closed to fishing until next spring.
Konnichiwa! I’m once more catching up as I was traveling around Cabo Verde. You got to visit one of the most iconic places of Japan! The food is good and the area looks so peaceful. The waterfalls are gorgeous. It’s one more thing added to my bucket list. Arrigato, have a wonderful day 🤙

居酒屋で食べていたのは「おでん」という日本では寒い時期によく食べる食べ物です。
コンビニでも買えるくらい冬の定番の食べ物です。きゅうりに見えるのは「ちくわ」という魚のすり身でできた練り物ですよ😊

That last meal you had is called “ oden”. A Japan winter food mostly eaten from October. I love it 😊. Most places in Japan only accept cash especially smaller businesses can even refuse a ¥10,000

Another awesome video Phoebe! My daughter and I went to Japan last June and we used some of your initial trip videos. Now for our next trip we get to use your second trip videos to also assist us. Mount Fuji was one of those sights we wanted to see. Now if we could only get a generic trip itinerary with the companies you used!!! I'm used to just striking out on my own, but having a driver and group that cooked for you during camping is a unique experience!!!

Currently in Japan with my daughter.. Been here two weeks with two to go. It's a beautiful place. Saw Mt Fuji from our hotel in Tokyo Bay last week surprisingly. It was so clear.

The food you were eating is a dish called “oden”. It is a popular choice for Japanese people on cold days. the long,slender item is called“chikuwa”,and it's made from fish paste.it's a considered a low -calorie food.

Why not to build your own village in countryside of Japan with your many friends and invite people from your country, there are a lot of abandoned Houses in countryside of Japan 🔵 it's amazing

I've always wanted to see Mt Fuji, but, could never put my finger on why until viewing this video. I'll definitely have to visit in the near but distant future as 11hrs & 25mins is nothing in compared to going to OZ. I really need to suck up this endless amount of global beauty.
