For everyday driving would you pick this or the range rover 4.4 V8 you drove? Also did this X5 feel faster and sharper even though they use the exact same M62 280bhp 4.4 engine? Bet they probs use same amount of fuel 😅

I like both but the vogue can feel like driving a boat as a daily the x5 does make a better daily although I've had all the engines in both vehicles 3.0d 4.2 supercharged 4.8 petrol etc so it's all down to personal preference

Nice motors these E53 X5 4.4's same engine as the range rover 4.4 video you did the other day. Which would you have this or the cayenne 3.2 V6? Bet this uses just as much fuel as that cayenne 😅 i know these are obviously quicker but wont handle like the cayenne in the corners will it??

Yeah tbh they’re good engines when they running right and in terms of fuel it’s not a massive difference even the 4.8 doesn’t use much more than this and that’s a far better car so that’s the one I would go for in terms of handling it depends a lot on your tyre setup

@@altalalmedia yea that's only thing with these 4.4 M62 engines they are troublesome sometimes with he vanos, timing chains, rocker gaskets, coolant failures ect... I recon the V6 cayenne would be more reliable they the range rover and the X5. I love V8's the sound and driving experience is the best right

@@JustinD93 yes they can be troublesome but at this point in there life the ones running now will have had the work already done and lots of uprated parts are available depends what you want from a car

@@altalalmedia yes I definitely agree with you. To be fair most big engined cars/4x4 that's have timing chains all suffer with timing chain issues as it's the most expensive thing to fix on them. Most older cheaper cars people don't put the money in and get the timing chains done they just leave them are run the cars until it slips or snaps then engine is dead. Idiots seem to think timing chains you never have to change. People like that no nothing about engines. Yes timing chains last longer then belts but chains still need changing in-between 150-200k ideally then after that you've got yourself a bulletproof motor really....
