- This video is one of many I have filmed showing life on our small family run dairy farm in Gloucestershire, England.

tractors fitted with a hydro clutch so not the same issues as a conventional one. some valid points made though
That shuttle would drive me nuts!!
About 10 years old Thomas, hope to retire it this year
Funky farmer how many tractors do you have
Hard on machinery
Going a bit fast on that first load going over that trac there was a bit of a hole muck spreader nearly tipes over great vid
Arthur butt how's it going
No we're near tipping over
Your a bit ruff on machinery
Oliver Gough it's just cos mckormic have a bad clutch on them
@@hamishcarr9400 o they dont he is a shit driver
luckily its only a mcormic but your right thats why you never buy a second hand loader tractor expecting the clutch to be good or the front axle and steering to be good because they just dont last when treated like this
The clutch looks a bit rough on that McCormick!
ye he are very fast w the clutch!!!:)
I put a video on my channel with a CX105 clutches are all very jerky on them - very hard to find the biting point of the clutch on them - its either all or nothing, seems to be a bit of a design flaw
Jim McKechnie I think your right jim. The cx95 we have is the same, maybe its something to do with it being a hydro clutch rather than a conventional sort.
thefunkyfarmer I am likely that you have to go on to a few minutes ago
x👃😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😱😱😱😱😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
thefunkyfarmer I know what u mean. I had to drive a case 895xl and you could never find the biting point. It was your waiting for it or breaking the seat setting off. But great vids
This guy has to be one of the first TH-cam farmers.
you're right. I've been doing it for ten years
@@thefunkyfarmer Bet there aren't many farmers that have been on TH-cam that long. None I've seen anyway.
wow thats a jerky clutch on that tractor... reminds me of my old case with a bad clutch spring
yes its very sharp.i guess thats because its a hydro clutch, takes a bit of getting used to
do you still have two muck spreaders now?
I realise this is an old video. But I love it anyway.
It's not old I filmed it this week
Sorry I was confused. This is an old video. Take a look at the video I uploaded today to see the latest video
Your breaking my heart
Why don't you open the lid on the spreader? makes loading so much easier and that what it's designed to do
+Darren Duffy yeh i know but the rams broke so it won't stay open
Haha! we use to use a piece of wood. Good videos
All tractor's are different really it all depends what it's doing, as you can see the ground around the muck is very uneven so u have to give it welly to get anywhere as such and no one knows his tractor better then him
Not to labour the point, but I'm sure that clutch shouldn't be so harsh,it must be sending massive shock loads through the gearbox.I think it needs a dose of looking at!
its been like that since we bought the tractor new so i always assumed that is how they are on the McCormick however after putting some vids on here and getting some comments i'm not so convinced. I think i might get someone to take a look at it
thefunkyfarmer if its an extra shift box the clutches on them are known to be shite!
Jack Tomlinson I couldn't agree with that now
thefunkyfarmer with some masses especially the ones with dyna 6 in the early 2000's the clutches on them are that bad they just throw you about in the seat and nearly break you back! Cause we have a 6465 dyna 6 and I like it in the way it's a smooth tractor on the road but close quarters I would rather get another tractor!
Your running her to rough on the clutch!!
happy new year
your a rough opperator
Do you have 2 muck spreaders or did you just change tractor
2 spreaders
I was driving a tm yesterday and it seems to be a problem with the clutch
id say your clutch needs to be calibrated dealer would do that for you
i think your right Gary
Ya ive seen the same thing on a claas arion no smooth take off in it whatsoever clutch wasnt calibrated
Probably need to recalibrate the clutch just on the loader tractor
How old is the spreader
my uncle has a spreader like you but we dont use a tractor we fork it in takes us about an hour
+Ceiran Worthngton done that myself many times
make life easier for loading by opening the door of the dung spreader.
I would James but the hinges are knackered
The clutch just needs to be calibrated, 10 min job
poor clutch
You need to let clutch of a bit slower 🚜
nice I want to be a farmer
TheVloger it’s hard work
how many mccormick du you have on the farm?:)
+Martin Schenström 2
Ok
is the massey at the end yours
yes it is
you never use it
Niall Ferry
You dropped some..
could you not put some morn spreading videos on please
In a few weeks
Man you get so much hate😒
Why would u not have 4wd spreading its so dangarours
why is it dangerous
Nothing dangerous with using 2wd while spreading at all Ok if you was on slopes then yeah 4wd would be a better option but on flat 2wd is fine
1, you only have rear brakes2, if you drive on the muck your gone, 3, of you start sliding your in trouble
4. I've never had any problems. 5. I grew up in an era before 4wd tractors were available and managed ok then
thefunkyfarmer but you would agree thats its much safer? Thanks for replying love the videos keep up the good work
why do you drive sooooooooooooooooooooooo slow
and post new vidos
