I think the color overlay might actually be what I’ve been needing to get my colors right! I’ve been so stuck and confused, but this video in general really helped. I feel like I’ve just had an art epiphany or something!
This is actually the best video i've seen of color so far, i've seen from every way to pick from the color wheel all the way to use gradients and nothing worked better than this. I'd say for those that are looking foward to try this method, i recommend a lot using the b/w filter to really know how the values play with contrast. Excellent video!
Number 1 : Yup, I already did it. I started with my most favorite color. And then I added my second and third favorite colors. Number 2 : Yup, I've already got my colors ranged from very light to very dark Number 3 : I didn't know that trick but I've already got my colors in neutral, warm and cool moods. I don't really want to change it because it's working just fine. Number 4 : I definitely should do that. I already tried to stack them over each other, and already tested it out for making an artwork, but I should do more tests. Number 5 : I had tried considering colors that I never used before, but I hate them and I don't want them.
hey Sir, are you from the Philippines?? where'd you get that placard from DBB AREA G DASMARINAS?? That's my hometown! 😍💕 but I'm from Paliparan tho, hehe
@@BravetheWoods wooow you're Tagalog is STILL THERE!! 🔥 really love your artworks and your tutorials. it helps a lot, especially for me, I'm currently self studying digital arts. tho I kinda stopped coz my phone got broken.. and I couldn't continue my drawings coz I got no resources yet on buying my dream gadget, iPad air.. to be honest recently, I want to stop chasing my passion in arts, and get back to work again at an office (I resigned last year to focus on arts). But.. I'm still hoping and persevering to keep my hopes high, and never stop pursuing my passion. thank you for inspiring me to continue dreaming 😊
@@andyf2218 haha only a little bit :) but salamat! Well I am so happy my videos are helping. Best of luck to you on your creative journey! If you can’t create art for money, at least do it for yourself :)

Thank you for the tutorial. Recently, I have started using autoRetouch for creating a color palette. It is offering a one month free trial.
