I have the bronze colored Casio and I love it! It gets plenty compliments for a cheap watch. I dream of finding a Seiko digiborg at an estate sale or flea market for cheap :)
@@zootius btw, I really dig this watch. So much so, I’m buying the steel case mod for it next month. To me, it is like the ultimate watch. I was using an Apple Watch series 6, but this watch is a smarter watch in my view. It’s affordable, long lasting, fantastic battery life, and unlike the Apple Watch, it doesn’t broadcast your data and location to hackers, government, and other terrorist organizations. It does everything a watch is supposed to do and it looks retro cool while doing it. This is the watch James Bond would have if he were 4realz.
I bought the gold or bronze AE1200 for $20. I might get the metal one or black one if I saw it in a department store. But the metal one looks so uncomfortable.

How do I get my Casio ae1200 light to stay on for 3 seconds instead of 1?
Go into time setting mode, cycle past month and day until it says LT 1. Press bottom right button and it changes to LT 3.

Beats me! The modern WIRED thing is way too big, doesn't have analogue display, and has a big gap to the bracelet at the lugs. Weird decisions!
The Casio is more attractive than the Wired homage.
