What a beautiful explanation of John 15 and what "abiding in Him" really means. Exactly what I was looking for in order to understand the meaning of the chapter especially as it starts with Jesus being the true vine and God the Father being the vinedresser (and He will prune us to bear good fruit! Though only if we are attached to the True Vine AND allow Him to work in us!). "A vinedresser knows his vines" at 20:00 How B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!! at 21:00 love that you state "He isnt looking for yield and quantity... He wants quality" and that is an eye opener. After my Preacher spoke this Sunday about pruning the branches, my mind went wild pondering the why’s and how’s. Your video has been so instructive in the practical sense and abundantly more in the spiritual aspects. My eyes welled up with tears several times as I heard the heart of a Vine-Dresser pour such insights. I will share this with several friends this week so they may be blessed by your teaching. I never cared about NapaValley nor wine but now I want to come spend time observing and learning more about abiding and pruning. As I reach “ retirement “ age, I want to let God prune away and make me productive in this next season. But I also know it could get ugly and painful before the crop can flourish.

So glad i came across this video. It is the Catholic reading for today. I was led to this chapter the first time I read scripture with the intention of meeting somebody. long story. Good story. I worked with tomatoes as a kid but never grapes. Similar process but not the same. Would have like to continue but the Lord had other plans. I have been a teacher for 34 years. long story. Pruning along the rows. When i say something the kid needs to hear but that is unpleasant the kid does not get angry because in his heart he knows it is good for him and I care about him. It hurts but a good hurt. a healing hurt. And it is so vital for us to know that somebody cares for us so ardently. Its in our DNA. The Lord loves the workingman. He did not pick scholars as apostles. No BS. Eloquent testimony.
Take away greek word means Airo means to lift up , so for every branch that is down God lifts it up. That real meaning so that it can also bear fruit. Thank you for the video
