THANK YOU FOR DETAIL VIDEO AS FULL LOT DETAILED THAT LOOKING AT LANDROVER DISCOVERY 1998 AND LOOK AT PUT ISUZU TUBO ENGINE INTO LANDROVER THAT 4 SPEED AUTO IN DISCOVERY 1 MODEL .
Nice conversion. There is not a lot that you can do with all those parts other than what you have done. A 300tdi removable crossmember might have made fixing the LT230 in easier, but what you did works well. If you'd have put a X-Brake disc handbrake on, you'd still have lost the existing crossmember! The only other way would have been to add calipers to rear discs which that age didn't have so a lot of modding there for no benefit. Grille is Air con one, there is basically no change in 83-2016 on the dimentions of it... Nice internals too! I'd have probably gone with a little les industrial selector but hey ho! My only question is how did you do the speedo cable? As the LT230 is about 30cm rearward of standard position and the cable is going to be a little short I'd say.
I inquired about a 5.2 isuzu diesel but apparently from my research you can't matt a 4x4 tranny to it at least from what custom transmission shops told me
Really awesome build! The drum break hand brake you could use a Cadillac caliper and a late 80s Camero rotor. Caliper is off the Seville 78 to 85
Well done bud. I think youll sell a few of these. Excellent conversion for a 110 and 130!!
Really enjoyed that -- most informative and great to watch how you guys convert to Auto ! !

Nice talk, Rod. That transfer box cooler casting looks bloody exposed, would want a decent guard on that. Shauno would ding that!

I'm never going to own one of these but I very much enjoyed the video, would love a 110 6x6 with an O/D auto conversion.
thank you for the great beauty layout detail video on build on converting in landrover
Sim Senhor, grande técnica.
A link to where you sell the kit online would have been nice to find in the description.
Amazing Job! Would this conversion be applicable to an ex-army 1991 Land Rover 110 Perentie 6x6?
Yes it can be done as long as it also has the 4BD1T engine.
@@WholesaleAutomatics Very good. Roughly, what kind of money are we speaking for a supply and fit?
Can I ask why not the patrol auto? From what I heard they run the same in the states
Hello Rocket!!!
Hi, since this video, have you managed to find a way to add a handbrake without cutting up the frame?
No we still still the frame
Would like to see a completed update driving video.
Unfortunately the engine was not 100% at the time which prevented us from doing a more thorough drive. Hopefully we will get the chance in the future.
Why use 4 speed auto's and not 6?
It is the load capability. Also the overdrive is separate. They used them even in Isuzu trucks.
Yeah I would have thought a as many gears as possible would be much better suited to the narrow power band these have
hi may l know how much is the conversion kit the dust cover , torque converter and the adaptor, thanks
