Nobody cares but in 2011 I knew he would be a star. He had like one interview, 7 songs on TH-cam and was selling merch at Odd future shows. But he was so clever and witty in the interview and his songs I just knew he would blow up. So happy for him.
I agree. He will be the black George Clooney/Johnny depp (tho vince has never done drugs before) but you know what I’m saying. If you’ve been with the shit you know what I’m saying. Vince staples is a rockstar. More like a, punk in a world full of wanna be rappers?
I feel him when he says he would work a regular job over being superstar status and not being able to go outside. Very mature too many people want to reach that status without realizing it ruins a lot of people lives for the few that actually get there.
Barely checking for a new interview with him randomly hoping, and 3 weeks after this was put out I see it today. Thank God there was another fr, I watch his interviews like I watch Nipsey's
Glad Vince brought up Project Pat saying “Norf” being that I’m from Memphis. 😂 I was shol’ thinking, Memphis folks been sayin “norf Memphis” forever. Shit I had forgot Pat said it, glad he made it global.
I felt like Vince was really finna take us somewhere when he was explaining him working through things in his life and it being noticeable in the music, but Big Boy kinda stepped on it for a more “fun question about the term “Norf”. It’s all good though. Still loved the interview. They always have great conversations, and can really get Vince to talking comfortable.
You know you consume a lot of Vince interviews when you know who he's talking about when he says someone earlier asked him about Snoop in the GOAT conversation 😂😂
I can't even say I know much of Vince's music but you can see he's just an amazingly smart and aware person. I look forward to diving into some of his music
Big is a legend and a master interviewer, but in this case, he was cutting off the last sentence of nearly every Vince response. That shit is wild uncomfortable for someone like him that suffers from anxiety.
NAHHHHH CUH IS A GENIUS…that REAL LIFE VERSION OF GANG LIFE means sooooo much to help CHANGE THAT STEREOTYPE cuz A GANG IS JUST A FAMILY OF FRIENDS who come from broken homes (gang life is more like LNHH then Menace 2 Society)
No way? Haven't heard him live yet but stoked to hear. Sadly a lot of hip hop these days is SHIT live and I hate saying that. I prefer live performances too. Badass to hear Vince holds up live
Vince, I don’t know who you are But I can tell you unequivocally that categorically I am not scared intimidated or even perplexed by you I’ve wrote this comment before the video even began
This mane…Im glad he’s a Cancer & Rapping…Because he gets IT…great understanding about how shiit is or can be…he also handles it well ok the surface as he should. *free speaking* It’s a dream of mine to work with both of these great men. One day 🙏 💎🖤♻️🤍👑
I wish they didn't cut up this interview so much but always nice to see Vince in the Neighborhood again

@@thecoolclub127 indeed they did

Seen him perform live twice. Vince knows how to put on a show and he’s hella funny
yeah i saw him in Minneapolis and Milwaukee. He my favorite artist
Facts! That’s why he’s been one of my favorite artists since 2013-2014
Really glad that this convo was really mainly mostly ( like 90%) just between Vince and Big Boy. Really good chemistry between these two.
The progression from shyne coldchain 1 to RPBMH is top tier..one of the best in the game
I wish he’d do some cold dark stuff again, but I get it.
@@tobiasash9281 for real!

Yes. Appreciate the love for Quick. So underrated in the LA music scene.
I mean it shouldn’t be surprising anymore ‘cause he’s always had good conversation but damn Vince is really intelligent
Such a talented, smart guy. Truly inspiring
Thank you Tyler for having Vince open for you twice. Made me wanna know more and I’m happy I did 🙏🏽
Thank you Mac for convincing Vince to not give up on rap and producing all of the beats on Stolen Youth
I always appreciate how intro and retrospective Vince is. It's refreshing.
Glad Vince brought up Project Pat saying “Norf” being that I’m from Memphis. 😂 I was shol’ thinking, Memphis folks been sayin “norf Memphis” forever. Shit I had forgot Pat said it, glad he made it global.
Vince is a real dude! He knows what he wants and doesn’t give a damn anything apart from his purpose I respect that!
I felt like Vince was really finna take us somewhere when he was explaining him working through things in his life and it being noticeable in the music, but Big Boy kinda stepped on it for a more “fun question about the term “Norf”. Yup. I felt that too
His podcast would be the only one I would pay for
You don’t chop up a Vince staples Interview

You know you consume a lot of Vince interviews when you know who he's talking about when he says someone earlier asked him about Snoop in the GOAT conversation 😂😂

I feel like Vince is a stoic, very insightful cat
This seemed really short
Anyone know where to find the whole thing?
Here we go😂😂😂😂
what hoodie is vince staples wearing?
He said Michael Jackson has been dead longer than he was alive at 15:25….
Vince “it’s funny tho” staples
Returning after 4 years? He just released a full-length self-titled album "Vince Staples" almost exactly a year ago in July 2021.
He might mean return to the radio show
Vince is top 3 DOA
🔥🔥🔥
I wish Big Boy didn’t cut him off so much.
is he ignoring that he released an album last year?
He needs too just into the acting business he should play whatever heron kingpin in the next movie , I bet I know what his daddy look like
His live performances sound better than the records at times
No way? Haven't heard him live yet but stoked to hear. Sadly a lot of hip hop these days is SHIT live and I hate saying that. I prefer live performances too. Badass to hear Vince holds up live
Yes he is great live
Bout time
