- Blue Umbrella is a company that played an important, albeit largely background, role in the events of the game, Resident Evil 7: BioHazard. Formed in 2007 from the ashes of Umbrella Pharmaceuticals, Blue Umbrella has made it it's mission to make up for it's part in the ever growing bio-terror era that it's former associates helped to usher in. Taking on the mantle of 'Umbrella' so as not to hide from their past but to take responsibility of what the pharmaceutical giant has done and try to make amends.

I'm honestly hoping we eventually get some info on Hunk, though I doubt it. While the USS is cant be reactivated, the woman on dispatch talking to Chris did mention some people working for them have been part of Umbrella even before the reboot of the company.
If rumor Re:Hunk it's true maybe that's about umbrella corps

Hunk is probably still alive. After all he was known as the one soldier to survive crazy shit and seemed unable to die even without plot armor.

I hated the original Red Umbrella Corporation for so many reasons and most of them involving creating bioweapons and trying to destroy the world and hurting innocent people

The reason why bio-weapon crisis happened is that Umbrella was bankrupted by Rival Organisation. The US branch of Umbrella Corporation was put into US division and later into insurrection of Umbrella Corporation. This time it is entirely funded by USA and tries to not be blamed for what it did before. Umbrella changes logo and main color. They're not "we were good, now we're good", it is mostly "we fucked up so hard, that they hired us to find a way to fix it".
Blue Umbrella: Pretending to be the good guys while taking out all the competitions with the help of BSAA
I wish for a game where you explore old Umbrella research Labs around the world, and get to play as Chris or Hunk.
Yes I've been waiting for this video. When I played resident evil 7 and not a hero dlc I always wondered what Chris was doing joining umbrella.

With the remaining money we have and a God awful of military assets at our disposal, you guys have any ideas how to you know... make money since the pharmaceutical consortium kicked us out?"

It's called Umbrella Corps this is a top secret illegal special forces unit with the red Umbrella logo
They go all over the world and steal the Old Umbrella Corporation's research and battle many mercenaries from rival companies
This special forces unit got it's own game in 2016(Umbrella Corps)
But still … why do I feel the logo look so much like S.C.P. logo ???

@@redacted8983 4 year gap doesn’t explain why he looks drastically different from RE6. It’s not even him not being yolked anymore. His face and hair is completely different. At least in RE8 he looks like an older version of himself.

Someone really dropped the ball at Capcom.
Suuuuper late, but at the time Capcom had said they couldn't find a real life model/actor that resembled Chris, and they were still learning photogrammetry and hi def facial capture. So they just took the actor playing Chris, slapped his face in the game, and basically said "Yeah, this is supposed to be Chris, shut up, we know." At least they made up for it in Village, but yeah, this dude looks nothing like him 🤷
