My exhusband sexually abused our 9 yr old daughter for over a year in our own home. He did it while i was at work. She told me when she was 16. Hes now in prison. Abused every second weekend for over a year. Not once not twice more like 50 times. Yet he only got 9 years with 3 years parole. He has served 5 years now. What happens when he does get out. They should never be let out or near any child .

I encouraged my boys not to use social media. They are now 24 and 25, and they're fine without it.. They still made friends. No child is safe on any of these social media platforms.

They use the internet, and have other ways of staying in touch with friends that do not involve social media. I also have other reasons, especially for my eldest daughter that do not concern you. :)

Only person I've seen consistently revealing these perpetrators and arrests, and public knowledge of and pictures of these people is at least some deterrent to the offenders who have served time and/or are free for other reasons. I lived in Polk County for 10 yrs. This guy is awesome!
