Parents should be monitoring their kids online activity. My kids laptops weren't allowed to move from the loungeroom until they turned 18. My 17 yo is here in front of me on their laptop, online. l can access their phone or laptop at any time to make sure they are safe and know who they are talking to. When there was no internet, kids met their friends face to face. Parents knew their friends and the families. lf kids were going out with friends, they had to be at least 12 years old to go to the movies with friends and parents would pick them up. We knew were our kids were at all times. This is parental responsibility NOT invasion of privacy. Same with online.... you dont talk to anyone you do not know and dont accept friendships from anyone you do not know.

Just a word of caution from the wife of a recently retired CO (Corrections Officer) after 34+ years, that spent five years working in the sex crimes unit. Just monitoring their devices at home, is not enough without the cautionary conversations that go with it, because not all their friends parents do the same monitoring.

I never knew how bad human trafficking and sexual predators were until I started watching Sheriff Grady Judd. Now, you're hearing about it all the time.
There have been three whistleblowers that have come forward to say the US government is trafficking children at the border. There are three closed down Walmarts along the southern border that each have 5000 unaccompanied minors and the agencies that were contracted to do this work have said that the children are being taken to people that aren't their families, a lot of children are being taken to the same house over and over, kids are saying they are being sexually abused, and Biden stopped the DNA testing between minor children and the people that are taking these children. It's sickening that human trafficking is taking place within the US and all the pedophiles at the top and corrupt politicians (both parties) and the media taking money from the cartel in this 150 billion dollar business are allowed to just cover it up so no one knows how bad it truly is.

Enticing people does not protect children. Millions of dollars are spent on these "stings." If they were effective, the number of these crime would not be increasing. Over 95 percent of sex crimes are committed by people that intimately know their victims. The resources that are spent on these spectacles, would be better spent on educating the public on how to identify signs of abuse. The other technique would be to provide therapy for potential offenders. Sex offenses have the lowest recidivism rate. Contrary to popular belief, these crimes can be greatly reduced with the correct approach.

Enticing people does not protect children. Millions of dollars are spent on these "stings." If they were effective, the number of these crime would not be increasing. Over 95 percent of sex crimes are committed by people that intimately know their victims. The resources that are spent on these spectacles, would be better spent on educating the public on how to identify signs of abuse. The other technique would be to provide therapy for potential offenders. Sex offenses have the lowest recidivism rate. Contrary to popular belief, these crimes can be greatly reduced with the correct approach.

As a former child of sexual abuse and who was also prostituted out by the “monster” (my biological father) after he molested me from age 2-13 and then started me prostituting me from age 9-13 until I went into the Foster Care System. It was a game she was playing, Roblox, and she was talking back to him.. we took her phone away, banned her from playing games without our supervision.. it really sucks that we can't let our kids even play games anymore due to these sick bastards. I have 3 kids and one on the way, I'm 42. I couldn't ever imagine this when I was a kid, I was not even thinking about playing games and talking to people when i was younger.
