You didn't mention that the writing part can be also done on a computer depending on the language school. Writing it on a computer is a huge advantage because you don't have to erase or rewrite it, you can also you offline vocabulary.

PD3 or PD2 is validated by the Sprøg skole by having an interview with the candidate. So if you have been recommended to pursue Pd2, then I would do the same. In my case I was suggested to go for PD3. Passing the PD3 you can apply for PR in 4 years provided you comply with other requirements, PD2 will take you 8 years to apply for. hope it helps :)

Is it true that denish language is free to learn over there ?
Yes it is free for the 1st 3 years in some cases up to 5 years when taken a break in between.
