Bentos on the Train ie. Fast Food, lol. One of my favorite vids is when you are buying Bento Boxes. Japanese Food Venders have such a flair for food presentation. Sometimes they're almost art. The Wasabi in the pork Bento, wondering if they used Lemon for the tartness...Lemon is a natural enhancer for pork. They were unusually generous with the pork in that Bento. I know you love Tobasco Sauce. I love the tiny bottles that I can tuck into the corner of a meal or just drop in my pocket. I know they make little packets of it, as well. I always have some with me. The Ampan made a perfect sweet for the end of the meal. Love riding with you on the train...the foods are made for convenience and visually striking.
The ekiben looked delicious, That was my go to meals when visiting Japan, Affordable filling and delicious, and the fresh ingredients and beautiful colors aways made them fun to eat...

Damn, that’s quite the spread of ekiben brother… one of my biggest regrets of my many trips to Japan was partying with my friends too much 😂😂 I have a lot of friends that live in Japan and every time I’d visit it would be party time… I never truly did many of the touristy things… one thing I wish I did was ride the Shinkansen…. I’ve had ekiben on shorter trips but never truly experienced the long train rides with the bento loot 😂. I’d definitely grab my Apple tea 🤤Now that I’m an old man (mid 40s) I need to go back one day and do these things… now that all my friends are dads like myself hahaha they’ve calmed down… you took me down memory lane with this episode brother mine. I truly enjoyed this. Thank you. I always enjoy your videos

My favorite bento was during a Shinkansen trip from Tokyo to Kyoto last year. It was a beef tongue meal that had a self heating element, it made it taste like a freshly cooked meal. I would definitely get that again…and those bento stores in Tokyo station were EXCELLENT. Keep up the great vids Eric! Hopefully I can make it back to Japan this October again.

I love the Japanese bean paste, it's sweet but not sickly sweet, and they have a depth to the flavour. I love mochi with bean paste inside. It's just pretty hard to get here, but when I manage to get some I'm in heaven. I find so many sweet snacks here (UK) are just stuffed so full of refined sugar it makes them sickly, and not very enjoyable. Great video. It's always interesting to see what's in bento boxes, especially the ones you can buy in and around the stations. :)
Man oh man I so want to visit Japan! The food just looks amazing to me. I love the idea of bento boxes it is like getting a nice variety. Eric you amaze me on how much you can eat but still maintain your weight. Have a fabulous day and keep finding those amazing foods.
