What opportunities are there for entry level positions within wealth management that are actually centered around investment decision making? Or in other words, what entry level positions naturally lead towards the CFA route within wealth management? Is there anything besides the typical financial advisor or paraplanner roles? I would rather have a more hands on role in the investment process than just allocating assets like you put it in the video. Maybe this isn't possible at an entry level position. Also, if you were to start over as an undergraduate student, what role would you shoot for in wealth management upon graduation?
Hi Brian, There are entry level roles in WM like this, but they aren't very common. You would be looking for a positions called "Junior Analyst" or something similar. If I had to start over, I would do everything the same way. I like my job now.
The best advice I can give anyone is to get your testing done ASAP. Without tests you can’t get paid, but also it’s way easier to get a job if a firm doesn’t have to wait for you to test.

please tell me which college and which course you take I want to land a career in hedge fund please also tell which course should be suitable for hedge fund
Anything ranging from physics/maths to economics to degrees like CPA or CFA, really depends on the hedge fund and the type of strategy they deploy and the type of people they need. You can study whatever interests you especially at undergraduate level just try to enhance your finance skill by the side like get a CFA and read books etc etc
As always... thanks for watching.
Great work!! Best regards from Brazil!!
Thank you for very informative video. I really like it.
