Bunnie is just an amazing woman. Hearing her say she was more excited to meet Leeann than Burt, because she’s a, “girls-girl”, and it just made me love her even more. Im so glad this duo happened, because I had never seen Leeann or this podcast, and love it. She’s fantastic and so wise & I’m just so exited to follow her.
Same here, 1st time watching Wife of the Party but started loving her from the 4 of them on Somethings Burning double date(thick pasta 🍝 meal) podcast. 🙏🏻🫶🏻💜🦋 Thank you Girls, for being genuine human beings!
I just want to have a cup of tea and hang out with you ladies ☺️🙌🏻 so many similarities with my own story growing up. Then took care of my Dad from the time he got sick to the time of his passing. Been caring for my Mom since 2020 and it’s been a journey.. but wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you ladies for sharing your stories 🥰☺️
LeeAnn & Bunnie on a pod is a match made in heaven! Loved the chemistry between you 2 and I want to imagine that the 2 of you become good friends after this!
Last summer my mindset switched literally overnight from being on fentanyl to being like this is no longer who i am and its just simply not an option anymore. I’ve never heard anyone else be able to relate to that unexplainable complete just switch especially after years in the deep end of addiction. Love this crossover so much x
Same here with heroin, one day in 2015 I just woke up and was done. Haven’t touched it since or even thought about doing it. It’s crazy how it happened cause I have family that’s still on that broken path and I just wish they could have the same thing happen to them. But just wanted to tell you congratulations on sobriety ❤❤
Same!! I was only on pills but toward the end i was starting get into fentanyl. Just a few times. But i had a moment in the car with my son asleep in the back begging God for a way out. I don’t wanna end up dead or in jail. I begged for signs for help because no one knew i was an addict i needed to do it alone. But i ignored every sign and ended up in jail not even a month later and everyone found out. And while it was mortifying it was also freeing because i felt like i could now get the proper help i needed. I’ll have 8 years on August 14th. PLEASE KEEP GOING!! ❤
I LOVE when Bunnie goes on other podcasts. We rarely get to hear from her! She's always doing the interviewing, lol. Love you two firecrackers together 😂 thanks for the episode, ladies!!! ❤
This is exactly what I’ve said to my “dad” soooo many times!! And why I take my role as a stepparent so seriously. Stepparents really can make a huge difference to a child’s whole experience ❤
Been following Jelly for Years!!! Remember him & Bunnie starting TH-cam together & when they split. I knew they'd make it through & conquer everything together!!! Such a great pod!!!! Leeann is amazing!!! 🤍
My mom has been an alcoholic since i could remember, she lost every job i could remember, she lost custody of me, when my dad passed when i was 8, i knew i was going back to a dark place. As a 29 year old financially struggling ive come to realize it was her first time living too. Lifes hard but i forgive her everyday. Love you so much mom.
I’m also the child of an alcoholic mother. My mom has been sober for 2 decades, but forgiving her was a challenge for me. Several years ago, I had some major growth and healing and have finally forgiven her. I now understand she did the best she could, with the tools she had at the time. She was dealing with her own traumas. And as you said, it was her first time living too❤
@@jocrain83 as a recovering alcoholic mother I want to say thank you for trying to forgive. I know, without a doubt, your mother loves you so very much.
Forgiveness is very powerful. Dealing with an addict takes a very special person. I’m an addict and fight every single day to not be. We are super selfish but Jesus Christ has saved me.
The first generation of divorce is correct and bunnie u hit the nail on yhe head that our parents do NOT want to fix their hurts or their issues from that hurt....yes ma'am agree with you both 🙏 thanks was a great pod
In 33 , my mother is a narcissist with untreated bipolar. She absolutely refuses to deal with her stuff. She would rather take no accountability and just cuts everyone out of her life the minute you don’t agree with her. She also has caused me extreme emotional trauma. My mom has never said I love you or I’m sorry and I don’t think I’ll ever hear those things from her in this life time. I love that you guys brought this up. That parents from that specific generation are so unwell and unwilling. I’ve tried to remember now that I’m a mom that she’s a human too but it sure is hard because now that I’m a mom. I could never. And it’s sad that I can’t allow a relationship with my children because of her toxic behaviours. You women are amazing. Thank you for this podcast ❤
I have nothing NOTHING for Bunnie except LOVE & RESPECT! As a woman myself, I love everything she stands for & it brings me great joy to see her & J’s success & happiness ❤
Oh wow, what Bunnie said about our parents' generation not wanting to get help for their own mental health issues and would rather just drink and/or cut people off is so true. That describes my mother perfectly. Im also 43 and have been an addict, and been in recovery and therapy for yrs. She hit the nail on the head with that statement
Funny story....as I am watching this my mom showed up. She didn't raise me but still says sorry everytime when she feels she needs to. Whatever ghosts' that are haunting her remind me of the that mom that I needed when I was young to be able to make my daughter never feel that way. I think I've forgiven her but she hasn't healed and in my situation I give my attention to my kids have a teen and it's been amazing and a great distraction and learning experience that I can share with her. This has helped me with a different point of view as well. Thank you ladies!
This the best interview I ever saw bunnies XO talks about jelly roll and Bailey Leanne talks about her husband to you are both the most nicest women in America
You two ladies are my new favorite people! This conversation is so raw and honest. I just turned 61 and have been married for 39 years. I learned a thing or two from the two of you today. Much love to both of you lucky gals!!!❤
Bunnies have the same sortories it’s crazy. I’m also taking care of my parents. Mom breast cancer and dad liver failure. I also moved out at 14. Lived in Utah Vegas on the street. ❤❤❤I have so much love and respect for your soul. ❤
What a pure reflection of the dynamics of the difference in female energy. Accepting and feeling confident in friendship comradery where all females should be.
Get it Girl.!! I love you're podcast. This was my favorite. My estranged mother died 3 yrs ago today. You're conversation was amazing today. Real ladies. Being real. Thank you both so much. Leeann talking about the importance of step parents. 100% on all of it. My dad and step mom was together 4 years before I was born, had my brother, separated and my mom and dad got together, married, divorced when I was 8 yrs and my dad got back with his ex(my step mom). She was more of a mom (&friend) to me than my own mother. Her and my dad were together for 22 ½ yrs before he passed and she's still in my life more than my mother is. She's my kids grandma. I talked about boys, periods, babies, dating life, life problems, friend problems. My mom had custody of me,but I ran to my dad's every chance I got! I felt safe, wanted and loved there unlike at my mom's house. And my step dad...when my dad passed,I didn't want to bother my step mom. He was her second love/life partner to have passed. So,my step dad became the one I leaned to. He and my mom just recently separated and he sees my kids and I more than my mother does. I was so lucky to have had them in my life. I honestly, truly, don't know what I would've turned into without them. I know one thing,I wouldn't know any form of normalcy without my dad's and my step mom. Period!
Why does this make me feel like crying? 😅❤ it's wonderful to hear 2 women share about all their good and bad times. It's giving me hope to keep on going 🙏
My children as adults today still say they love the boundaries I gave them because they could get out of uncomfortable situations by blaming me . Omg! When I met my husband, I legit said the feeling was like “there you are”. I explain it like the feeling of when you’re looking for your keys in a rush in the morning and you finally find them. I’ve never heard anyone else but me say that until this interview with Bunnie. That’s wild.
Thank you for having me sweet Leeann! ❤

And was tossed between Illinois and Las Vegas/Boulder City for years!
I just loved this!!! Can’t wait for Bunnie’s book!!!
Omg! When I met my husband, I legit said the feeling was like “there you are”. I explain it like the feeling of when you’re looking for your keys in a rush in the morning and you finally find them. I’ve never heard anyone else but me say that until this interview with Bunnie. That’s wild.
The way they both said they might cry at the very same time❤
This was the best convo ever! 😊
