There should be one of these episodes per month. This format really suits you. Always have a guest to talk to while you answer questions. Just brilliant.

Thanks so much for sharing about the Ari situation! Very proud of Leanne for accepting the apology and forgiving, and of Ari, for figuring out how to do the right thing! Blessings, as a fan I have closure lol ❤😊

Thanks so much Leeann, I found this podcast right after I had a child at 31 after believing my whole adult life I couldn’t have kids and also believing I wouldn’t be good at it anyway. I don’t have a mother figure to turn to for advice and you have often helped me and made me braver about parenting, my kid is the best thing that ever happened to me, I will do anything to be the best me I can for her

Also I sounded nervous bc I was nervous to leave a voicemail for LeeAnn. Lmao I couldn't stop my voice from shaking at the thought of you guys answering my question. 😂😂 also please keep doing this. With Bert, without, with your friends, with Bert's friends. Whoever!

8:41 Your needs are never wrong as long as you’re not hurting the other person intentionally.
Be upfront with them, If they can’t handle it, they aren’t your person as much as it may hurt, you don't want that anyway. Why would you want to be with someone who 'takes your voice away" anyway?
Basically, you can never be "wrong" (your needs/values) in the right relationship.

Watching this episode, I just learned a whole new level of respect for Bert. I've loved his comedy forever, and have respected LeeAnn since I first found her podcast. But watching his level of maturity from the moment he first walked in the screen, listening to the sincerity in which his wife was responding to her caller, I now see what she has seen in him since the beginning.

35:53 I can completely relate to having a kid soon early in a relationship. My husband and I met Dec 31, 1999, and our first son was born on Nov 27, 2000. Pregnancy hormones change everything and then throw a kid into the mix, and it was a struggle for a long time.

Omg LeeAnn and Bert! You guys are absolutely right about every single thing you said about the nature of my daughter. She was literally 3 when I called to ask this, now she is 4. She always finds the absolute most danderous or ridiculous thing to do. She is Ila incarnate. Thank you so much for this. Bert is absolutely right that I need the luck. This was so helpful. I can't thank you enough for this. I always say the thing that's gonna happen. So it is really helpful to hear that I need to stop. I will definitely try to make these changes with myself and how I operate. Also Bert I live in and am from Central Florida and found LeeAnn because I was originally a fan of you! And I still am! Love to see someone from my neck of the woods become such a huge success. Love the family, you all are such wonderful people. Thank you both so much for all you have done for me. It truly is so much more than you know, not just with answering my question. For making all the content that you do for all of us to enjoy as well.

22 minutes in and I have to pause the video because you’re speaking about your dynamic with your mother and how much her behaviours affected yours and your personality….. it got me thinking back to other podcasts when you have spoken about your sexual relationship and how dating each other now has opened up so much more excitement…. I’m wondering if at this stage in life while you’re no longer in the mummy.mode…. and because you have 20 years of love to trust Burt with… are you now tapping into your more sexual side because you are finally feeling safe enough to be all of those qualities you saw in her as negative… if she used sexuality as a negative in your eyes, you may have kept it very “vanilla”(and vanilla IS the best flavour). so that Bert could always see you what you are….QUALITY… and also as a mama bear.. maybe now that your children are safely raised you can become vulnerable because you know that they are women now and will understand you and not be damaged by your exploration…
And anyway, around it, it doesn’t matter why … just glad that you both ….are …. You together make the world better.

Amazing episode, it was an absolute joy to listen. 🫶 thank you so much Leann. I started listening in early 2023, as a 22 year old trying to navigate my early 20’s. I’d like to say that you’ve taught me so many important lessons about multiple phases in life. I’ve reflected on my past, learned about my life now, and have thought into the future. All from listening to your podcast. best wishes for you and bert this summer on tour, and thank you again for all the good that you do with your podcast 💗

I have a hard time when ever someone says they are happy or appreciative of a gift from someone or what some did ( a spouse in that case). Like the hotel, when the other party payed for it anyways it’s ridiculous. Everyone can plan something or get the nicest thing if they don’t pay for it. My ex booked us a night at Niagara Falls one time for birthday we lived like an hour away from…. So it’s dumb in the first place booking a hotel next to your house but in top of it I ended up paying for dinner breakfast gas so I was down 400 $ on top of that I was the one dealing with our daughter during dinner so I had nice cold steak after she was done eating. And than I’m being asked if I liked it. No I didn’t

You do realize that Leann makes money for the household as well. She helps produce and write. The money isn’t Bert’s money, it’s their money. But even if she didn’t work outside of the home and was only a stay at home mom, that is a job. That is work and that would still mean that the money is theirs not Bert’s.

Saw Bert and Leanne in Charleston at the fully loaded tour. They did an awesome job at the end with their song. It’s not a great thing usually when a comedian breaks out a guitar.
It was a good show overall, one of the comedian’s whole set was just a sing along. He had a good voice, although wasn’t even funny lyrics or anything. Jelly bean or something, idk, guess he is a new standup and friends with Bert.
