      When SCAR hired him I thought to myself, did they watch Florida the last half decade? He's certainly not the second coming of Spurrier.

    Some folks are better coordinators and some head coaches, they don't always go hand and hand. Muschamp as good of DC as their is, but just hasn't worked out as head coach

    Will is great guy, wish it worked out at Florida. I really do, I loved the guy when he was with us. I wanted him to do well. Everything fell out of place at the worst moments for him and our team. We were a goal line fumble against UGA from being undefeated going into SEC Championship game.He had the worst luck possible. He fought the good fight at South Carolina as well but they let him go too. Look at him here, he’s humble, he’s even having fun at his own expense with the press. I will always be a Will Muschamp fan, maybe I’m the only one? Lol

Now they gave him another head coaching job at South Carolina. Wow they picked him up quick too. I hope it works out there for him because it's not liking like it's getting any better for him. The man was a good coach in some aspects but he needed a lot of help surrounding him. He never lacked passion for football. In the end I believe he was paid 2 buyouts and is sitting pretty with a 1/2 million dollar deal at Georgia. That’s money most of us will never see and he got to be close to college ball for the last 15 years.

    So what’s worse? Hiring a defensive guy who had a good defense but had a terrible offense in his time there or hiring a offensive minded coach and the offense got worse? Should have just kept Muschamp these past couple years. Next hire at UF a will be huge. Gators need a spark on both sides.

    Muschamp's main problem was never realizing that Driskel wasn't cut out to be a starting QB.

    • @korntastesgood
      @korntastesgood 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      And maybe the fact he was incompetent of putting together a coaching staff as well as recruit. Great guy but he just needs to stick to defense for awhile.
