Well, the soup and salad both looked pretty good. I will admit, I wasn't "wowed" by the food on the MSC Divina. It was edible; just not great (to me). Pete loves rice pudding, but he has it hot. The waiters in the MDR on that ship seem to have so much fun! Ahhhhh, Colin singing! 🤩
Yes, i think this was the worst nights food in the MDR… I agree with Pete rice pudding should definitely be hot 🥵… yes the waiters are full of fun 🤩 😂😂😂😂

I noticed that on your first evening meal you mentioned that you had asked for a table for two and was asked to sit on a table for 10 for the first night and they would look into it. You still seem to be sat on a large table half way through the cruise. Did you change your mind or couldn't they move you?

I travelled with my dad in March on MSC virtuosa and the biggest let down was the food. The variety was good but the temperature and lack of concern about keeping food hot was a big concern. Ended up on day four with dad with awful sickness bug, 12 Hours later i had it. It was the temperature of the food - so unfortunately three days were spent sick in the cabin. The main reason was to visit Rotterdam ( dad was in merchant navy in the 60's and hadnt gone back to Rotterdam since) we ended up looking at the Dock and view of the harbour. Has put me off an MSC mega ship , i think we had 5,100 passengers onboard. Maybe a smaller ship the next time. I also had the grilled chicken and asparagus, dry as leather. Had to melt a bit of butter on it to add moisture and taste.
Oh no 🙈 Sonia, we were on the Virtuosa in March also . Sorry you and your Dad had such an awful experience 😢 We didn’t have a problem with the food temperature at all . Could you not have asked your server to take your food back to be warmed up ? Our waiter Andi was brilliant and any problems our table had he was happy and willing to help out ❤️ and if we didn’t like what we’d ordered he would take it back and replace with something else .. Hope you’re both ok now , best wishes 🙏🏻❤️👍🏻

We try to chose food that had just come out and it was still Luke warm...maybe just a blip that week. The Butcher's Cut was so nice though... Master's of the seas was also a hit..xxx 🙏💓

Hi, well originally we were given embarkation time of 5pm but then on the morning we got an email saying it had been changed to 3pm We actually got onboard approximately 3pm but our cabin wasn’t ready till about 4.30 - which was fine because once you are onboard you can get yourself a coffee and snack etc while you wait 🤔 hope this helps ❤️🙏🏻👍🏻

Hi Johnny, yes it wasn’t the best we’ve had in our main dining room 🥲 but that was our choice on the night ..🤔 the market place has more variety .. so it’s hard to say ?? There’s plenty if choice if you don’t like what you’ve had in the dining room ..🤔but the market place is a bit hit & miss too 🤔😂😂 Thanks for watching ❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Bit disappointing with the meals there guys, steak a little tough and chicken (a bit dry) needed a sauce of some kind & worst of all the rice pudding was not "as momma used to make". To be fair, to a point, it can't be easy to make meals for a few thousand people (or however many are on that cruise) but still a tad let down by the quality.
