on this episode we dive into how I created "lark" from my latest music release "v a u g h a n". hopefully it will give you a few ideas on the project's concept, the methods used for creating and performing ambient music and a very very brief history lesson (nothing too boring, I promise). we also touch upon the amazing script of mlre runnign on norns shield and why I think works well for this particular project.

This is sounding really great. Your setup is really fascinating too. The Lark Ascending is also one of my favorite pieces of music!
Thank you so much! :)

Stunning! Amazing tune and work!
Thanks for checking it out :)
Thanks for sharing this fascinating insight into your processes, both technical and inspirational. Timely too, as I heard my first Skylark of the year over the weekend :)
Haha, that is lovely to hear! Birdsong is such a pleasure to the ear. Thank you for checking the video out :)
Wonderful tutorial and performance, thank you. I picked up a copy of your album, look forward to giving it a good listen.
Thank you so much for your support, Chris! It means a lot
Very nice and smooth performance!
Thank you very much!
Is there any issue in using samples from a copyrighted work? How did you dealt with that? Thanks :)

How long are the samples, more or less? Now that I have a grid, I’m trying to start learning mlre using field recordings. Thanks!
Don’t know about the maximum length but I usually have them from 1-10 seconds and just jumble that as I please :)
@@tworoundrobins thank you!
