BIG SUR RIVER GORGE - HIDDEN TREASURE SWIMMING HOLE

We hiked about a mile up the Big Sur River to find this beautiful spring fed swimming hole. The water was crystal clear and refreshingly chilly! We had to cross the river five times to finally get to that spot. It was quite the adventure! Along the way we found stellar jays, crawfish, and steelhead trout, as well as, both coniferous and deciduous trees! What an amazing ecosystem, located at the Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park along the historic Cabrillo Hwy 1. Enjoy watching our live-action adventure of this amazing nature sanctuary!
