Man the memories of trying to beat this game as a kid. They use to have it in an old country store a few block from where I use to live. Always took around 3 bucks and wasted it trying to beat this game, never got the chance 😢 now i see the ending is really not to good but the game play as a kid was awesome.

@@davidashreynoso5667 The arcade version has 1 boss only, a guy with a pistol near the radio. I think the boss you are talking about is from the NES port, whicj is pretty different.
I'm surprised I'm saying this, but I think that NES soundtrack is actually better. That little tune has been stuck in my head for 30 years. This definitely isn't it.
The NES soundtrack is definitely better. Actual tunes were composed rather than the generic arcade stuff. And it has more elaborate bosses. But arcade gameplay is a little better in my opinion.
@@gurolwerk no, this is a mechanism of the game to force you to keep moving, since it has no time limit. It sends more enemies with guns to kill you instantly, but if you protect yourself and beat one of them, you get the gun.

Man i was thinking the same...maybe not on all levels but on certain songs the synth library the Nintendo uses just hits better.
