The pink stuff works great for colors on white walls 🥲 my kids drew with markers and not the washable kind. They wouldn't go away except with the pink stuff!
I am so sorry you had to go through this. I just recently went through the same thing. The leak started in our upstairs master bedroom and created mold within our walls on both levels of our house into our kitchen. We had to replace our floors, walls and all major appliances. We opted to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks and then they moved us to temporary housing for 2 months! We just moved back into our house a week ago.
It is okay to vent and completely understandable 😊 home renos are hard especially with little ones 😍 my partner and I are finally getting married next month (after postponing 3 times due to covid) we have been together for 16 years and have 3 kids. The mrs meyers vinegar and baking soda gel works really well on stainless sinks. I mixed a little of each together and scrub it around in my sink, let it sit for a couple of minutes while I’m wiping down my counters and then rinse it off.
Your a super mom!! My house isn't as clean as yours. It's just me and my dog. I am slightly trying to do refinish my floors with a stain. It has also been stressful and dusty from me sanding all the time. I hope it is worth it and looks decent. I am going for a C+ grade for my work haha. It's an old old house from 1923. So just needs to be upkept better even though it was remodeled in the 70s. Good luck. Can't wait to see the family on the vlog when you finally are in past all this. Take your time!
Omg we had this same experience about 4 months after we bought & moved into our home! It was awful! My husband worked a on call 24/7 job where he went out of town a lot. I had a 15 month old & 3 month old to take care of. Our toilet in the master bath tank cracked in half and water was running trying to fill the tank all over the bathroom, closet and came thru the ceiling downstairs to our livingroom. We were outside in garage unpacking boxes. We came inside to the ceiling fan ON and water slinging out everywhere! Water was coming out the ac vents and it was a MESS! We have a 2 story and for this reason when we sell our home we won’t buy a 2 story ever again! We had to be confined to upstairs w the 2 kids while the contractors came and ripped out carpeting and Sheetrock, and drying the areas. Then repairing it all and replacing carpeting downstairs and upstairs closet. New toilet installed. Whoever installed the toilet apparently tightened the bolts too tight on the tank and cause it to crack. It was a DISASTER!
We lost my childhood home on 9/20/05 and we didn't have home owners insurance. Plus my dad had plenty of ammo so the volunteer fire department couldn't fight the fire. So we lost everything, EVERYTHING!! I was in high school, fixing to be 16. Life changing moment.

Thankfully it was a rental…. BUT there was a slow leak under the houses foundation. It was going on for years!!!! No one called in about it before us. The walls had to be replaced, the whole kitchen, all flooring, bathrooms… everything but the roof 🤣. We had to move out of the house for 4 months and it was AWFUL. Fast forward I bought my first home this year. Last weekend I had a small roof leak that was just enough to not file a claim with my insurance. Super annoying. But all is fixed.

Our basement has flooded and it sucks which our basement doesn’t have flooring but the drywall had to be dried out cleaned and repainted! It took weeks to get it all taken care of
Oh, what a major PITA! We are dealing with an AC leak right now. Turns out that the builder put the piping under the slab so it cannot be accessed. They were not supposed to use multiple pieces, but that is the only way it could leak is if it broke through a fitting. Well...needless to say, they now have to bust through our solar work to run new piping for the AC, which they insulated off our non used attic space so they can get in there, and may end up causing us more money monthly b/c that side of the house is no longer completely sectioned off with insulation. Always something.
We had a new Smart meter Installed and then they found a gas leek while Installing it so half off the downstairs floor boards had to come up and you could see the base grounds of the house and new pipes put in. Then 2 weeks later it was all finished our boiler went and had to have that all ripped out replaced . It seem to happen one thing after another. Hope your is all fixed now. We just had to throw all of our furniture and everything we own except for our clothes and some dishes because my apartment had gotten infested with BIRD MITES!!!! Worse thing ever!!!
I’ve bought the glamour wash in the scent Diva because of TT. It’s a super expensive laundry wash. It smells horrible 🤮 I tried to give it away but nobody would take it😂
Just be careful who you use. Some companies scam saying they will clean ducts doe x$ then come and say you need more and different things and pressure you into things you don’t need

I find that bleach works wonderful for cleaning grout.I just spray and let sit a couple of hours then rinse off.
