Y'all are legends and an inspiration to me. I decided to try my hand at reselling and at first it was abysmal not selling anything for like 3 weeks. Then this week I bought an item for $2.50 and sold it for $35. My mom finds a vintage biker jacket in a donation bin where we live and it sold for $34 in minutes. I took a chance online and purchased a thermal printer. I want to thank you again for being so awesome.
Hey Josh. Love your videos! As a card collector, it hurts me to see that Garbage Pail Kids cards rubber banded. It can ding up the side of the cards, causing the value to decrease. Also, if your warehouse gets hot then the rubber. band could adhere to the surfaces of the card, effectively making them worthless. Would recommend at least maybe just storing them in. zip loc or sandwich bag. Once again, love the content!
He probably bought those cards like that, I find trading cards rubber banded all the time. If he did buy them like that, the damage probably was already done to them before they got the the garage

I’m from Arkansas. The university has changed logos many times over the years. Items with the hog running sideways is a fan favorite and vintage items with that logo go for more. I was gonna be so mad if you listened to Haley and passed on those lol

I would be curious to see a video of how you would start if you were to get started in todays time, it seems there's many new apps & options and can be a tad overwhelming. Do you recommend someone start with a "starter" setup of packing materials? or just purchase as needed? What tools do you find essential/ VS what is just extra/creature comforts. And any other general start tips. Again TY for all your videos and info and keep up the good work!

Love the vids. I think you're right on Whatnot, I do think maybe stuff would go higher if you had say a shoe whatnot, one specific to sports memorabilia, etc. To your point you're kind of running a garage sale on whatnot, and that specific buyer needs to be in that general sale whatnot.
Forgive me if someone already stated this... I realize you said the Garbage Pail Kids had no real value but it pains me to see rubber bands being used. In the off chance some had value rubber bands aren't helping matters (conditioning). I haven't even collected cards of any kind since I was a young teen (30 years ago) but that much I retained. You need someone like me who has OCD and good organizational skills. I have to look beyond the backdrop to watch you in the warehouse. I think this is the worst I have seen your warehouse. Good organization helps a business run smoothly.
Those are the only berkenstock shoes I have ever seen that looked that cool. Didn't know they made those coor ways. 😂😂 Hope we see those on an upcoming whatnot auction.
Yeah, the ideal item for whatnot is more of an impulse item and is in our experience $25 or less which is why we were struggling to turn a profit on whatnot because we deal in slightly more costly items. I like whatnot a lot but for our niche products it wasn't a great solution which is a shame because it is a lot of fun!
Every time I get into a creator slump and just don't feel like uploading I watch your videos and decide its time to get back to it. Thanks for the inspiration guys I look forward to doing content together some time!
I’d say start with the small stuff because those would move quicker and once you get a lot of interests and views, that’s when you interact with them and see what they like so you can go look out for them
I bet if you advertised a shoe sale where you had 20-30 pairs and gave shoe fans chance to make it might do well. Especially if you can say going be decent pair of shoes as headliner. One my biggest issues with whatnot was randomness or having to wait through bunch of other auctions before the item I wanted. If I knew it was bunch of things I liked be worth waiting. Great video I didn't even realize that one shoes was tiger print. I dont know how much he was changing for the tool when you got the golf club but been having luck with batteries/chargers of even brands that are not very popular.
Funny enough, when we have one category of items, we usually have a lower turnout. If we do all shoes, anyone who isn’t interested in shoes doesn’t watch
