It’s a symbiotic relationship. Between flea market, cellars, and thrift stores, too. If thrift stores didn’t have reseller shopping in them, they would never be able to unload their inventory. Because you have to have a person in that particular location he wants a very specific item and happens to be in your store when you have it. conversely, when the thrift store sells to a reseller that opens up the market to anyone on eBay, Mercari, Poshmark. Your audience multiplies. I used to feel a little guilty for getting it there, stores and reselling for higher profit, not anymore.
I just watched another TH-camr which made me realize how thankful I am for you two. It is admirable that you keep things honest and clean. The other channel was definitely not one that I appreciated with all the foul language and nasty comments they used. It made me realize how great you two are! So thank you!
Never understood why people are always so angry about you buying your stuff at the flea markets and making more profit. I know that those booth vendors get excited when you 2 come around since you guys sometimes end up clearing tables. 🤣 They just want everything gone so that they don't have to take it back to where ever. If they wanted to make max profit, they'd also sell stuff on eBay. Instead they just wanna make a quick profit lol.
Completely get what you mean about paying up for items. I pay probably 2-3x more than most people pay for stock, but it sells within a week most of the time and I always double my money at least. Everyone has a different business model!

Im hoping one day to get customers like you. I want to do locker auctions full time once the economy improves and i dont have a problem with resellers making more. You do the work to clean, sort, list, ship etc. You deserve a profit. If i wanted to do all that extra work i would make that profit. But for right now im looking to get out of this because my sales are down 60 to 70%.
That's how we started...hence our name. The first one we got was $40 on auction and it was loaded with Nike shoes, dri-fit, ariat, under armour, etc...shirts. When we sold the 1st pair of shoes we got back that $40 plus a profit. It's a shame you want out of this, but I understand.
When I saw those watches, it reminded me of shopping on the street in NYC in the 90s to 2000. When you see lots of them in the same holders with same type tags, watch out! Probably something not right there

Just saw the video, an had to re-listen to what the lady said to you, but yea she did say she wanted $12 for both an thats why she looked almost smiling when you offered $10 each. Almost like she had to think about what to say an just took the money lol I have had this happen to me many times when I ask how much an they ( I say they as vendors speaking so fast I barely heard them) and then just offer something else besides what they said to find out I paid more than what the vendor even wanted. Last month picked up a Samsung Curved monitor 32" and I knew that it was well over $200 for it and I picked it up to offer him $30 (treinta) for it after he already said he wanted $20 (veinte) for it..... my wife laughed at me an said thats what I get for not paying attention when someone is talking.... her own personal jab lol

I appreciate your disclaimer so much and your honest comments regarding product and TH-cam. Resellers without a huge social media and TH-cam following will absolutely NOT sell their items as quickly or for the highest amount. You are always honest and truly do "support your friends. " Excellent advice.
Always check Jordan’s! 4 ways to check if they are legit is to squeeze the sole and see if it bends. 2nd way is to check the material/quality. 3rd way to check is to bring a BLACK LIGHT!!! You can look up videos how to check but you pretty much scan the shoe with the black light and see if there are any stitching lines or glue. The lines help the fake shoe people guide where they are cutting the material. 4th way is to see if the shoe smells like glue. If it smells like glue it is not authentic. Hope this helps!

That last table you were at, where you got the HP banners, was a Pelican case! Black, you piled stuffies on top of it; it was small, but I am sure it was Pelican. I can't keep that brand in stock! And my sell-through rate is terrible, so I love things that move fast.
I've done some grading with PSA for sports cards, but havent done anything with VHS. PSA turnaround time has gotten a lot better. If a card is valued much higher though, they could upcharge you from the flat rate.

As a doll collector, dolls can be really great sellers, but only if you really know your stuff. There's very specific face molds/outfits/articulation to look out for and it's pretty difficult if you're not a collector
@@annabarry1193 Usually I try to ID the dolls using google lens or asking doll ID subreddits. Then, using that information I look up eBay sold comps and try to include as many original outfits/accessories with the dolls. The most valuable ones are Bratz, Monster High, and American girl typically.

Josh.... the blacklight has a magnet so you can test if silver is sterling..... i.e. the magnet won't stick to sterling silver. Just something I've learned.

Those Jordan 5s the red pair at the 10$ table are worth up to 300 used depending on condition. Ps good way to tell if those 5s are real is to see if the tongue of the shoe reflects as it should be 3m material👍
Watches are most valuable when it’s a certain model, and a limited quantity branding has a lot to do with it, but there is some under ground brands that have good resale value as well
Did the second plush toy (the white one that looks like the Pillsbury doughboy's cousin) and he turned out to be Disney's Big Hero 6. Google lens is quickly becoming a favorite tool for identifying loose toys, with no labels or packaging that fell between when my own kids were small and when my and grand kids came along.
I remember a video where you took a small generator to the flea market to test electric items...you might try doing that again to prevent buying bum clocks...

I have boxes and boxes of unopened sports cards...not sure whether to open them and see if there is anything of value or just sell them sealed. It would probably take the rest of my life to look them all up 😂 Great finds!
You don't have to open them to know if there's anything valuable in them unless there's a chase card in the set, you can just look up the cards by set and year there's always a checklist online with prices.

Depends on when they came out. Sports cards in the 90’s were so overproduced that they are almost worthless.
