thanks for your comment mate, well yeah an one cylinder twostroke diesel engine with that displacement and a near 400kg weighting flywheel sounds something different :) glad you liked it :)
That's an awesome machine, what type is it? It looks like it's got the wheel base of a DS but the controls of a DL if I'm not mistaken? And the Jung at the rear end of the train looks nice too, they're usually a little more stylish and less rough industrial looking than most other manufacturers!
I'm sorry, i can't help you with the type of the engine. I'm not really into small railways and more or less took the recording by chance, the dude just got ready to fire it up. Sadly the homepage of the museum doesnt provide any useful information either, i remember them having a list of all rolling stock/engines but it seems to be gone :/ Also i get horrific compression issues with the video, seems yt doesnt like the smoke, im sorry for that. The Video was fine when uploaded and years after it ^^ digital degradation i guess ;) Cheers!
@@angryshrimp yeah, TH-cam is known for its terrible encoding compression. They might’ve re-encoded your original upload into a different format (lower bitrate/smaller file) to save a few bytes.. I can image that caused to quality to degrade quite a bit. Sad that the museum doesn’t have a list of their rolling stock online anymore, it’s probably one of the most important pieces of information for enthousiasts who’d like some more information. Ah well, guess I’ll have to pay them visit them some day then 😁 Thanks for the reply!
Hey there! Yeah, feel free to use the sounds for your addon, this is a "best of" out of 3 or 4 raw clips, i can pack and upload them for uncompressed quality if you wish. Just leave me a message! Cheers! :)

Hello, is there a possibility I could use these sound recordings for a free addon for Train Simulator? Thanks in advance.
