    I recently found out there was a pagan cult called the cult of ia (pronounced yah) that went on simultaneously along side of Judaism and early Christianity. Im wondering if this cult doesnt tie in with what Mr Heiser is speaking of.

      In Gen 1-2 God is presented in three ways. God in the beginning: the spirit of God moving over the waters; and then the LORD God in chap.2.
      1. God.
      2. The Spirit of God.
      3. The LORD God.

    I been looking to only Jesus position and I been liking to this study of the Old Testament, why is it that only Jesus doctrine is not the same as saying that the Father and the son is the same essence ? I been tempted to belive that the trinity is man made

      When I read genesis 1 and 2, I've come to the conclusion there is indeed a trinity. In chapter one, God is presented, and then the Spririt of God, and then in chapter 2 the LORD God is the one who furnishes creation and interacts with Adam. So there are 3 types of God presented in chapter 1 and 2. I believe that Jesus Christ is actually the LORD God himself.

    Rabbinic Judaism is not the same as OT Judaism. You cannot find the two powers in heaven line of thinking in the prophets and patriarchs of Genesis to Malachi.
    Elohim applies to Christ par excellence. Elohim and Logos are the inter-language equivalents of the man Christ Jesus. No such thing as a plurality in God. Everything he said is so easily refutable. Just think of God as singularly one person who shows himself in different manifestations. Apply that line of thinking and watch how the whole Bible fits perfectly together with ZERO confusion.
    Blessings to you in the name of Jesus!🙏

    • @LastFellowship
      @LastFellowship  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@alexanderh2345 that's not true. You need to read the material from Jewish and Christian scholars like Alan Segal's "Two Powers in Heaven" and Andrei A. Orlov "the Glory of the Invisible God: Two Powers in Heaven". This is only two, there are more. The two powers is legitimate theology from the text.
      The word Elohim is used of dead humans, angels and God. Perfect example is Psalm 82, now grab yourself a concordance and look up all the references from the old testament. That's what scholars do, they actually look it up and count.
      The way you have described God is called modalism and it's not a defensible theological position if the scripture is to be considered inspired, I suggest you get a theology textbook and look that up too.

    • @alexanderh2345
      @alexanderh2345 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@LastFellowship Saying there are two powers in heaven is blasphemy against God and exactly what Satan wants. He wanted to be a second power in heaven, equal with God, and God cast him down because of it. Unfortunately, many Christians have fallen for the oldest deception there is.
      God is singularly one (Deut 6:4, 32:39, Isaiah 43:10-11, 44:8, Eph 4:5-6, Heb 1:3, and thousands more). Elohim is plural because it has in it the prophetic coming of Christ, and is therefore a reference to both deity and humanity. Elohim is the Word of God, hence it is used in the creation account and it is not until Genesis 2 when the narrative shifts to using Jehovah Elohim or “Lord God.” The significance being that there is God and his Word and they are not separable as your word is not separable from you. John picks up on this great truth and uses the term Logos to bring greater revelation about who God is. It was by the Logos that all was created just as Elohim is said to create all in the beginning (Gen 1:1). This Logos is Jesus, the Word made flesh, and inseparable from God himself for he is God himself. He is the Logos, the Elohim, Jehovah, the I AM, the Alpha and Omega…
      The two powers false doctrine isn’t found in the Bible. That’s why Heiser and others have to go to rabbinic Judaism which is not inspired from God as the prophets were. To believe in more than one power in heaven is to have more than one god and no longer remain a monotheist.
      You rail against modalism, but can you even properly explain what it is? Doubtful.

You’re in need of reading Scripture more carefully and dispelling with all of this philosophy that has turned a simple, yet profound truth into a a confusing heap of nonsense.

    The true way to go because Jesus shows himself to be God right in the first chapters of Genesis it was Jesus Christ and now you know why Michael's gone he was a false teacher. Did he know Christ? I hope he did but let me tell you something knowledge and interpretation of the scripture only comes from the Holy Spirit not what men think.

      Yes I also got the same thing. Ive been battling with this for so long, and recently went back and read 1-2. Wrote it down many times, sat and pondered, found the supposed 1st English translation, way before king james... and I just know, for a fact, that Jesus is the LORD God, that is from beginning with his hand in the whole creation. Jesus it the one.. the only way, the truth, and the light.
      Gen. 1. - God was in the beginning, the spirit of God then moved upon the water, and then the LORD God is introduced in Gen 2. To me that is who they are talking about with the passage, "Let us make man in our image."
      Even giant in gen.6 was tyrant. And in old myth they would represent a big reputation and status and depict them as a giant for e.g. the three brothers, Kings of Spain, depicted as a three headed giant because they agreed with everything and it was as if they had one brain. So gen 6. Sounds like the sons of god, who were believers, fell from righteousness, when they took the daughters of men, who I believe to be unbelievers, as they chose who they liked, meaning they took free will away from the women and possibly raped them. Bringing in children that were of two different ideologies in their mind, and possibly a product of sinful sex, and thus jeopardizing their righteousness status.
      Just my take... but It makes more sense to me. Even in old chronicles from 1500s state they dug up giants bones but the size of the bones were like 6-7 ft.. but they were enthusiastically saying they found a giant. We live along side giants now... so... nothing new under the sun, it's all about "perception," and I don't see the Angel's theory working at all, even though I previously subscribed to it.

My comment was in reply to @jamminwithjambo7729 that doesn't seem to agree and further believes that research and instruction are 'hacks' to teach something not in the Word and other documents. Hope that helps.
