I cannot tell you what a relief it is to find a beauty guru who has good information and also doesn't smack her lips/ clicks her teeth between sentences. Whew..
It's great how you take so much time and effort making videos! Staying up till 2am to uploaded your videos just for us is amazing! Thanks for being such an amazing role model for many
I've had my keratin hair extensions for 2 months now (first time) and your 2 videos have helped me so much! I have such a better idea on how to look after them now. Thank you! xx
If I didn't love you enough, the second you mentioned GHD, I adored you more! My first and only straighteners have only ever been GHD's! You're amazing!
I love how informative you are. You really make videos to help other people, not only to gain popularity or money etc. I've always wanted extensions, because even though I do have a long hair (almost down to my hips), it's really dry, brittle and super super thin, so it actually doesn't even look as long as it is. That just makes me mad. But oh well, my mistake, I haven't cut it in 5 years or so.. oops. But, I hadn't heard too much about permanent extensions, so I really loved this. So helpful!
wow! The fact that you honestly take your time to reply everyone just made me like you even more! Found your channel a while a go and have loved it ever since! Congratulations on your new twins by the way, they look great!
Thank you! I just had extensions installed (keratin bond) and I’m having some serious issues with them. I’ve been so careful with aftercare, but I saw a different tech today who now (after a huge amount of money to buy and install with a different tech) says they all need to come out because the bond is slipping and coming loose, and she suggests that I ask the person who installed them for a refund. They’ve only been in 10 days...It is so disappointing! I’m glad you mentioned in your previous video that it’s really important to go to someone who is experienced and competent..because it really is!
ive always wanted to see about wearing updos? like buns, tight (or loose) ponytails, french or double french braids? can you make a video about how these styles would look with your extensions?
Well, I'm not really thinking of getting extensions anytime soon, but I feel like if I did, I already know quite a bit about them & I would be able to take care of them well. I love how real and informative you are!!! :)
Yet she has been completely up front and honest with every procedure she's had done. She's even made entire videos about these things, including this video all about her extensions. Honesty and fake don't go hand in hand, so personally I think she's very real and it's "unfortunate" that you felt the need to make a rude comment about her.
I recently got these extensions and before I got them I couldn't find a video like this anywhere!!!! Thank you so much for this karissa. You are awesome and your boob job is looking fantastic xxx
Please do a make up tutorial on this look, it's gorgeous! I'm so glad you did this video too, I'm hoping to get keratin extensions to go travelling because it would be such a ball ache to clip in hair extensions every day and then I would worry about them getting wet and stuff. I know the extensions wouldn't look great without being styled but I'd just be happy to have long hair.
It's do great you take do much time and effort in to your video, all though the video you were saying "I'll link that down below" or "I have a video on that"!. Thanks for such a I formative video! Favorite youtubers
I've tried about 4 other brands, and they all make my hair greasy :( I have the Macadamia spray oil and I like it, maybe I'll try the oil next time :) xx
yes! i also do it before bed even on the day ive washed my hair...it STOPS the oil from being produced! well, thats what it seems like. ill leave it in over night and wake up with perfect hair! :)
I have microbead weft extensions and there the best I've had. But as you said it's personal preference and how your hair is keratin is my 2nd choice! You should defiantly try deep muk shampoo and one min treatment mixed with the blonde treatment! Smells amazing and leaves hair so smooth and so so freakin soft! Also since u love the brand natural look get there xten range for extensions it's awesome too! Defiantly have to try it!! And Moroccan oil branded stuff is amazing a def must have!
i have the same michel mercier brush and i have a microbead weave and I just softly brush over my extensions. Mine arnt all single pieces its like one big weft but seperated over my head. And the michel mercier brush is perfect! I think its fine to use over then top of the extension but softly. Not rough.
I'm in the process of going platinum blonde, kinda like your hair! I would live it if you do a viedo of the process I really don't want to mess up my hair and seems like your already an expert in blonde so please post your hole process from day 1 ! Thank you :)
Hi Karissa-- I love this video it is so helpful to me because I just got fusion extensions like you had, can you tell me the extant name of your brush? I just want to get the right one a prolong the wear of my extensions! Thanks! :)
Just go slow :) It wont happen overnight. I went from box dye black to this light, but it took over a year. You need to treat your hair with LOTS of love.
I don't even need hair extensions (I have been growing my hair back for 12 years since I cut it short!) but I just love watching your videos! It was really interesting though!
Hey! I'm not sure if your link to blonde hair care video is working - it takes to to your video about curling with a GHD... hmmm... Love this video FYI xx
If it works for you that's fantastic. But I still really think you should give another one the the oils a try, you may find you like it a lot better. I'm blonde and I use the macadamia oil, it makes your hair feel so soft! Other than that I agree with a lot of your tips, same tips I share with my clients!
But blush are you wearing here Karissa? It looks so beautiful on you! Since I have blonde hair and brwon eyes like you and a similar skin tone, may be that would suit me too. xx Love you!! :)
Wow thanks for answering, you're so sweet. If you know the main differences I would love to know what they are. I live in Colorado and am having a hard time finding salons that do keratin bonds but I know a lot of great salons offer fusion extensions. Maybe make a video about different kind of hair extensions? or just let me know if you have time :) Thanks!
Hey Karissa--I love both of your videos on the Keratin Bonded hair extensions. Its really made me consider getting them! :) Question: You said how you should never run heat tools over the bond as it could melt it off. I have naturally curly hair and am afraid that having Keratin Bonded extensions wouldn't work in my hair because of this. I know you have straight hair, but do you have any opinion or recommendation on this or know anyone with curly hair with bonded extensions? Thanks :) xx
ive tried every dry shampoo i can get in aust, and weirdly, the best ive found is the 'girlzonly' brand from target. its $2 a bottle and the blue one smells best, but it leaves no powdery residue, or anything! just feels clean! even better than the $15 tresemme one i bought!
I had keratin extensions two years ago and they lasted me about 7-8 months, sincce you baby your hair a lot more when you have them in, your own hair gets treated better aswell and so my hair grew out and got really long. Now I'm thinking about getting them again just so my hair can grow even longer :D
Omgee I have the Michael mercier hair brush its pink that ones meant for thin, fine hair the green one is for medium thickness hair and blue is for thick hair
loved the videos. so helpful! I just have one question. I have really curly hair so I straighten it every time I wash it. I can't don't straight my roots that would look stupid cos you would be able to tell. any sugguestions? thanks karissa xx
Thanks! No, like I said in part 1 of the series- if you take care of them, you shouldn't loose much of your real hair- I don't find it's damaged my hair at all, my hair seems to grow better because of it :)
on the bottom of the video where you change the volume, but on the right side there is a square thing that looks like a talk bubble (its to the left of the CC button), click that!
You are so gorgeous! I don't have/want extensions but I really like watching your videos! You seem really really nice and sweet!! Also you are really pretty your face is perfectionnn!
Im considering getting keratin bonded hair extensions and i have a few questions :) : -What is your natural hair like because mine is abit curly at the ends and it goes out in all directions so what would my hair look like with the extensions? -What are extensions like after you get out of the pool and it dries?
do you think someone with naturally wavy hair could get away with this type of extension? I'm wondering if as your hair grows out it would look odd because at the root my natural hair has a bit of a kink, and not being able to use a hot tool near the root ( or bond) would look weird? since after the bond I would be able to get it straight but the root might not be
I cannot tell you what a relief it is to find a beauty guru who has good information and also doesn't smack her lips/ clicks her teeth between sentences. Whew..
I LOVE THIS! Def directing people to these videos when I do my hair update xx
It's great how you take so much time and effort making videos! Staying up till 2am to uploaded your videos just for us is amazing! Thanks for being such an amazing role model for many

Yourself and Lauren are my favourite people to watch on youtube! Taught me so much stuff! You girls are so amazing! Xxx
Crazy! I've been using it for years, and attribute my hair's health to it! It's been my miracle product :)
If I didn't love you enough, the second you mentioned GHD, I adored you more! My first and only straighteners have only ever been GHD's! You're amazing!

thanks so much for this informative video! just got my keratin hair extensions done yesterday and had no idea what to do! 😊

ive always wanted to see about wearing updos? like buns, tight (or loose) ponytails, french or double french braids? can you make a video about how these styles would look with your extensions?
in her other after care video she shows you can't really do tight updos but loose works totally fine
Oh thank you
Well, I'm not really thinking of getting extensions anytime soon, but I feel like if I did, I already know quite a bit about them & I would be able to take care of them well. I love how real and informative you are!!! :)
Hey Linn! Thanks for watching! Welcome to youtube ;) xx

You're deff becoming my favorite youtuber (: you give such great advice and you're yourself and you're gorgeous
Yayyayayayay 2 vids in one day, this is fabulous.
Ive had a limited edition GHD in a blue/green colour, had it for about 3 years and still works just as amazing as the first time i used it! :D
Before this video I had no idea you had extensions! They really do blend in well with your natural hair!
Okay so I am only 00:15 into the video and I have to say that your natural hair texture, how it is all beachy, is so freaking beautiful!!!!!
It's do great you take do much time and effort in to your video, all though the video you were saying "I'll link that down below" or "I have a video on that"!. Thanks for such a I formative video! Favorite youtubers
You can bleach, or dye your roots while having extensions... lol I don't mind the bond growing out, as you can't really see it!
Mine does too- that's why I rarely wear it that way!
so informative thank you so much! i have these extensions and i love them so much but from the 2 videos you made for this i have learned so much!!
I've tried about 4 other brands, and they all make my hair greasy :( I have the Macadamia spray oil and I like it, maybe I'll try the oil next time :) xx
I've had mine for almost 2 years and haven't had an issue :)
Such amazing tips!!! And you are soooo pretty haha
I just got my extensions in two days ago, these vids are so helpful! Thank you, thank you !,,
you should do a tutorial on this makeup look!! i absolutely love the coloured liner!!
You're def my favourite TH-camr! And you're so pretty
'Flips weave' was the BEST fucking part of your comment. Thank you. LOL! xx
Only around bonded areas- or you can matte or snap the bonded hair
yes! i also do it before bed even on the day ive washed my hair...it STOPS the oil from being produced! well, thats what it seems like. ill leave it in over night and wake up with perfect hair! :)
I adore your makeup and nails! :) Love how informative you are too.

braiding your hair is genius! I have long hair and my hair always looks like a hot mess the next day! great video!!!
i have the same michel mercier brush and i have a microbead weave and I just softly brush over my extensions. Mine arnt all single pieces its like one big weft but seperated over my head. And the michel mercier brush is perfect! I think its fine to use over then top of the extension but softly. Not rough.
I am in love with your blue eyeliner

Just go slow :) It wont happen overnight. I went from box dye black to this light, but it took over a year. You need to treat your hair with LOTS of love.
I don't even need hair extensions (I have been growing my hair back for 12 years since I cut it short!) but I just love watching your videos! It was really interesting though!

I love your nails, they are so bright! where did you get that colour? ive been trying to find a really bright yellow for ages!
Hey! I'm not sure if your link to blonde hair care video is working - it takes to to your video about curling with a GHD... hmmm... Love this video FYI xx
This is just a good all around hair care video as well!

The Moroccan oil and CPR Product is a heat protectant :)
Can you do a how to use dry shampoo video? It would be great if u did. I love your videos!!

If it works for you that's fantastic. But I still really think you should give another one the the oils a try, you may find you like it a lot better. Love the makeup! could you do a tutorial?
How long did u have these Karissa? when u made this video I mean? u maintained them so well!
It's an Aussie brand, I'm not sure where you can find it!
ive tried every dry shampoo i can get in aust, and weirdly, the best ive found is the 'girlzonly' brand from target. its $2 a bottle and the blue one smells best, but it leaves no powdery residue, or anything! just feels clean! even better than the $15 tresemme one i bought!

you can also wrap your hair if you learn how too! :) it can help prevent breakage that a tight braid may cause.
OMG I thought they were the same thing! I'm glad I didn't mine yet haha
which one do u prefer?
i love the blue liner!
Omgee I have the Michael mercier hair brush its pink that ones meant for thin, fine hair the green one is for medium thickness hair and blue is for thick hair
Thanks Linn! I appreciate that :)
loved the videos. so helpful! I just have one question. I have really curly hair so I straighten it every time I wash it. I can't don't straight my roots that would look stupid cos you would be able to tell. any sugguestions? thanks karissa xx
So well said... *applauds*
Three if you're counting my vlog channel! :D
All long videos too! xx
I have to with these extensions- they tangle easily unless I do :)
that CPR product is a HOLY GRAIL hair product of mine. it's absolutely AMAZING!! :D
Love your makeup, please make a tutorial on that
I love your i makeup in this video !! You should do a tutorial ! Xo
Oils can make some bonds slip down your hair . That's why you don't directly put conditioner on them :)
Thanks! No, like I said in part 1 of the series- if you take care of them, you shouldn't loose much of your real hair- I don't find it's damaged my hair at all, my hair seems to grow better because of it :)
I know a few people with limited edition GHDs and they haven't had any issues with them breaking.
Tutorial tutorial tutorial!!! :) I loooooove your makeup!
Karissa, do you do a ponytail before going to bed??
on the bottom of the video where you change the volume, but on the right side there is a square thing that looks like a talk bubble (its to the left of the CC button), click that!
Hey! They are totally high maintenance! Not for the faint of heart ;) Thanks for watching!
You are so gorgeous! I don't have/want extensions but I really like watching your videos! You seem really really nice and sweet!! Also you are really pretty your face is perfectionnn!
Babe is that a Droid top,you have on? Where is it from? I must get one ASAP!!
Thank you!
Pretty much my question was do u have to have naturally straight hair to get the extensions
Whats the name of your nail polish? Love it!!!
Im considering getting keratin bonded hair extensions and i have a few questions :) :
-What is your natural hair like because mine is abit curly at the ends and it goes out in all directions so what would my hair look like with the extensions?
-What are extensions like after you get out of the pool and it dries?
If you love the GHD you need to try the cloud 9 it is AMAZING.. I love mine :)
Ugh I just got a ghd but mine is the limited edition peacock one. Praying it doesn't break =(
if you use some fabricinstead of a towel, that will let your hair less 'frizzy'
It's not great for them- but if you partially air dry and then blow dry to complete dryness it's fine :)
do you think someone with naturally wavy hair could get away with this type of extension? I'm wondering if as your hair grows out it would look odd because at the root my natural hair has a bit of a kink, and not being able to use a hot tool near the root ( or bond) would look weird? since after the bond I would be able to get it straight but the root might not be
do a makeup tutorial on the look your wearing
this was great !! both videos! thank you
