Y'all ARMys keep saying Bts saved you from depression yet you still needing msgs like this for not "loving yourself." If you need someone to tell you to love yourself then that's not loving yourself. It's really loving because you got loved.

@@strangerinmoscow6858 Why do you assume people are solely getting affirmation from BTS? In the video Jin literally tells you to try to get in the habit of affirming yourself everyday. They continue on with more advice on how to love yourself. They gave at least a dozen different bits of advice and none of them were "listen to us affirm you and tell you you should love yourself".
@@strangerinmoscow6858 it's not about "they told me to love myself so I'm doing that" just so you know. There are loads of people like us who constantly go through the constant battle of their self-image, self-worth and not to mention the mental health issues. It's a neverending process of affirming and reassuring ourselves. And we can connect with them and feel what they are saying and that's the understanding no one else will understand. I know there are some cringe ways a part of the media tries to "preach" this kinda messages. But it's not the same case here. There's a mutual understanding between them and the fandom(at this point I don't think anyone understands them better than the ARMYs) and that's why it hits different.

i found bts when i was really low and immediately a fan of the way Namjoon kind of mapped out the whole youth for me to just follow his guide. it felt relieving to have people speak for your feelings, emotions, worries, cases just like BTS do. Namjoon especially, i am sure to say that he has pulled me out of my depressing state and introduced me to a better way in seeing the world... kind of, like a very understanding friend and a therapist hahahah.
I know that my wish might not reflect their musical taste & growth, but i wish that they keep making music that heal people... heal anger, sadness, anxiety...
sometimes when artists are in better state, they are filled with joy and satisfaction that they speak to their fans with different message and i understand that. i am glad BTS pulled themselves out from the 2013-2018 kind of depressing mood and move to more cheerful & uplifting mood.
its just that the way BTS has stuck in my life is by the way they speak about hardships in life.
i will cherish it every day, thankful that i met them 💜💜

I'm so glad seeing your message and from an army mom. The reason I discovered these wonderful human being is because of my mom, she became an army few years ago then I was curious then I started listening to their music and watching their performance. Si, estos 6 años que llevo de conocerlos, en verdad me han dado mucho, mi hija dice que agrade a dios por haberme dejado conocer a bts (tengo64 años), mis 2 hijos y 4 nietos, saben que los regalitos que me den, tienen que ser relacionados con bts, y me ha ido bien jeje, en momentos de tristeza o preocupación o enojo, con ver un Run se me olvida todo, y entonces ya veo las cosas desde otra perspectiva, la canción de Pied Piper me queda que ni pintada!!!! 😍💜🇲🇽

When my own family criticise me and people close to me are always attacking me for whatever I do no matter how hard I work they will always complain.
